We bought this chair for me to sit outdoors; Im chronically ill and cant always be active, so sitting outside in a comfortable chair is important to me. So far Ive enjoyed it. The footrest has 3 positions: down, up for sitting, and up a bit higher for reclining. The recline position of the back isnt very flat, but its enough for a quiet cat nap on the porch. In the sitting position with the footrest up, it is very comfortable. I can knit, read or just watch the birds attack the feeders. Im rather short legged and find the seat is a bit deep for me just sitting. I havent yet but probably will hunt down a suitable pillow for that purpose. The pillow that came with the chair is nice but not for that. The recline mechanism is engaged by shifting your body weight, not a handle, so a very weak person might find it a bit hard to do. Im not terribly strong and I can do it. But I can see where if my health takes a turn or if I had major surgery it might be a problem. The cushions are quality and the green is a muted neutral with a hint of olive tone. Overall very nice, but not perfect. Then again, what is?

Id been wanting this recliner for at least a year before I decided to spend the money on it and buy it. Id never bought patio furniture online and that always comes with a risk, not knowing what youre going to get. Luckily, I absolutely love it! It meets all my expectations. Its easy to put together. Has 2 reclining positions and the 2nd one goes back far enough to sleep in. Its comfortable & sturdy and looks beautiful by the pool! The only negative thing Ive found so far, is when someone used it that was 6 ft tall, he was trying to lay back in the furthest reclining position and it kept pushing him up, back to the 1st position. It doesnt really lock into place well, so if you move forward a little too much, its going to bring you back to the first position. Not a dealbreaker but something to be aware of. Overall, I love the chair!

This chair is very comfortable, and I'm picky. It is firm enough to hold up, but it is soft enough to sit on for extended periods. It's actually more comfortable than my couch. My only minor complaint is that it is a little hard for me to push it back to the initial reclining position. It's not a show stopper, but it might be a problem for someone who is elderly or disabled. It stays in position when reclined. The fabric, metal frame, and "wicker" appear like they will last, even if left outdoors. I bought two of the blue recliners and theHanover Outdoor Ventura 3 Piece Chat Set, Vintage Meadow , and they look good together on my patio. I shopped for weeks locally and online, and I'm very pleased with this purchase.
