Saw these identical stools in a local furniture store at a price of *% higher! We've had these stools for 6 years and they have held up very well - with use every day. One word of caution... the upper metal on these does scratch easily so use care when swiveling

Great counter stool. The silver finish never scratched or chipped. The seat cover was able to wipe down. Always looked brand new and I would recommend them!

Difficult to assemble. First the metal on the back part wouldn’t fit into the slot on the seat. The metal was warped. Secondly the round part on the bottom was too large and screw holes from legs would not align. I contacted the manufacturer but they were not much help. No solution yet.

Very sturdy and easy to assemble. The stool ended up being a lot larger than I expected, but the quality seems high.

Bought these stools for my kitchen bar. Love them! Very sturdy and look great! Loved them so much bought more for my basement bar.

The perfect bar stools!

These stools are the bomb. They arrived well packaged so they were damage free; something that you shouldn't have to worry about but all to often we get things that are unusable. They are perfect for what we needed, very well made & sturdy.

These are heavy duty & look nice. They are holding up well and clean up nicely. The only thing I don't like is the metal boinking against the countertop when my grandkids swing the stool around. Definitely worth the money.

I would buy this item again

Just received three (3) Hillsdale Harlow Swivel Counter Height Stools. Because of the winter storm, the delivery was delayed by a day from the Hayneedle original date. Some Assembly was required, but the wrench and all of the hardware for all three were in each box. The written directions and drawings were easy to follow. The stools look beautiful, are sufficiently weighty (not flimsy) and the seat pads are firm and comfortable. We are very pleased with this purchase. The only small problem was the box that contained the legs of the stool were printed "hardware inside" and a red tag was attached to a ribbon saying "hardware is in a bag at the other end." On the first box there was nothing at the other end of the ribbon and the hardware wasn't in the box. After some searching, the small bag had been torn off the ribbon and was in the large box. On another stool, the hardware WAS in the box. I guess it depends on the person who packed it.

So disappointed

Disappointed. Product sold by multiple vendors, so not Hayneedle fault. Hired someone to assemble, but holes NOT machined right. Slots not lined up accurately & would not go together. What can I say - nothing. Finally told him to put back in box & tape up for return, could not continue to pay him since product defective. Did not open other boxes as had to assume all same. Product had right "look", but would not work. Still trying to find something.

Classy Pewter

I just purchased 4 of these and price compared to several other sites. Overstock was the best price by far. The assembly of the first one was a little tricky but went smooth after that. The seat is larger than most bar stools and are very comfortable even for larger sizes. The Pewter is brighter than I thought Antique would be but they look awesome. My only complaint is the "p-leather" seat, it would be easy to recover if they don't stand the test of time. I would definitely buy these again.

These stools arrived looking just like the picture. They are comfortable, elegant, great quality and perfect for my daughter's decor. They are not too shiny. They are easy to assemble, however, the foot rung can be installed upside down.

Beautiful stools

Purchased these stools for my new kitchen counter. They are perfect. Went together fairly easily and they are sturdy and look great. They swivel perfectly. Good purchase!

Very sturdy and attractive

Took my husband one hour to assemble. He is very impressed with the quality. Stools are great for people with longer legs. Would be comfortable for taller and larger people. We like how it matches the stainless steel appliances and granite in our kitchen. Good value. We priced similar stools that were twice the price and did not include shipping.

Great Christmas Gift

I purchased three of these for my daughter and son-in-law as a Christmas present for their new home. They reported that they were thrilled with them. I can't wait to see them in person!

Substantial

I purchased 4 of these chairs and I am very happy with them. They are very substantial and very easy to put together. One of them gave us a problem putting them together but I contacted customer service and they had a new one sent out and the original one picked up. The whole process was very easy. I will say after a few weeks of use one is squeaking a little from use. I'm sure adjusting it will correct the squeaking. I had originally purchased these from a large furniture store then checked Overstock to find that I could purchase them for a savings of over $***+. I immediately cancelled my order from the furniture store and purchased them from O. I couldn't be happier.
