Good Simple Desk

This is a good simple desk. The drawers work pretty well for their construction and the space on top is just right for a laptop and some accessories. The dark color is nice and it works well for me.

Very pleased!

I love everything about this desk. I have used it for a while now and am still happy with it. Drawers work fine. Perfect height for me. For the price, this was a good buy. I have it in my bedroom and it matches my other white furniture. I am a very picky person and I searched and searched for a desk. It came without any scratches. Nothing was wrong. I even put it together myself and I’m 71 and not handy with tools.

Elegant desk that looks expensive

My daughter loves this desk--especially with tri-fold mirror on top for when she uses it as a vanity table. Great transitional design so it looks modern but with more character. Not much drawer space but that was expected with the design.

Cheap and defective

Junk. Due to a manufacturing defect, one of the legs mismatches the pre drilled holes, meaning that it aligns crooked. The misalignment means that one of the drawers only opens when forced. Even without these problems, though, I would still be returning this. It looks cheap due to the gaps in the woodwork (see pic).

Great value for the money, I love it

At first it appeared the box was retaped, making me nervous. I carefully unpacked it and was so pleased to find NO issues. Not even a tiny scratch. All of the hardware was present. The paint is high quality and a beautiful deep black. The desk is very sturdy and fits perfectly where I planned. I have arthritis and I was still able to assemble it by myself (I am a 65 yr old lady). I love allen wrench assemblies, no looking for the screwdrivers! It is a heavy desk so turning it right side up took some thinking so the legs would not be damaged. I used my love seat to tip it up on and then was able to flip it over with the use of a soft ottoman. The drawers work perfectly. What a great value for the money.

Will work where I need it

First one had a cracked corner but Overstock was prompt and sent me a replacement. The new one had a damaged drawer but I still had the other one so I switched the drawer out. From a distance, the desk looks nice (I switched out the hardware) but it isn't fine furniture. It will work where I need it though. It is very easy to put together, I just wish the finish on it was more substantial.

It's a no

Looks as pictured, however quality is very low. I have a drawer whose bracket came broken because it is plastic and wasn't aligned properly. So of course when the manufacturer pushed in the drawer it broke. The drawer cannot be opened because then it falls toward the back. I will be able to fix it when I get around to it, but it is a definite that zero human eyes checked this product for reasonable quality. It also arrived with multiple small surface imperfections. The overall appearance is of the mass manufactured particle board which is as you might expect, but overall I think while it's not a send-back, if I had to do it over again I would be a firm "no."

My favorite online purchase EVER.

What to say that hasn't already been said? Let me start with the obvious. This desk is an abolute crackerjack buy. The desk arrived well packaged and the first thing I noticed was the lovely color and then, to my relief that all the parts were included and in perfect condition. The table was amazing looking when assembled which took all of 10 minutes. I'll just add that I am a 70 year old women with zero mechanical skills. It was just a matter of attaching the legs and the drawer knobs. I just love the finished article. nary a scratch or indentation anywhere. If I had room, I would buy ten of these tables. Would definitely recommend.

Color is a green-blue teal

Pretty little desk. Don't be misled by the "green," though. I'd definitely call this sweet little desk teal. It's more of a green-blue than a blue-green, but definitely more teal than green. It doesn't feel particularly sturdy, but we're not planning to give it much use. We're setting it up in our guest room as more of a dressing table than a desk.

It's ok.

It fits what I want for the space. The paint on the surface has a blotch on it. It looks like someone found a blemish and then instead of sanding it down and paint it over, they just dabbed some paint on it, so that spot is raised and uneven. Not the best job. Since we just assembled it, I can't say how well it will hold up yet. Got quite a chemical smell to it. I am leaving it outside to air it out (see photo haha). Overall, it's ok. Not a thrilled purchase.

Needed a computer desk and this did the trick. Easy to put together and sturdy. The two pull drawers operate smoothly and provide plenty of storage space. Wide enough to hold an "all-in-one" and a rolling file cabinet underneath and still provide an ample work surface and little obstruction when seated at the desk. Well made with good design.

This is wonderful desk. I use it for my home office. Office chair fits nicely under it. It has two drawers which are awesome. I have pens, paper clips, etc in the drawers. Just like at work. I have an apple desk top computer on it and there is plenty of room. Best desk I have ever owned. Easy to put together. Just love it.

Love It!!!! Great Quality - Easy Assembly

This arrived quickly and looked exactly as it appeared in the photo. Color - it's not a stark white nor is it that antique white - it's somewhere in the middle. If you want bright white - you may not like this - if you want antique white - this is a brighter version of that. It's well made and easy to assemble. It's the perfect size and worth the price I paid. Only downside - is that the wooden drawers are not on a track. They work fine and the space is nice to store day to day essentials. Overall, I would highly recommend!

Drawers do not open well

The desk arrived on time, and had user friendly instructions. There are several things I noticed about the desk once put together. First one of the legs has a tiny hole in it. No matter which of the 4 corners I used it for, it was always seen. Second the drawers, they are awful. They do not open or close well, it feels like your rubbing wood together. I'm sure they are going to break. The knobs make it look really cheap.

Terrible quality and damaged

This desk arrived damaged. We had to glue big chipped off pieces of wood back onto one of the drawer slide area. There are dents/chips on the side of the desk. The finish looks like it will be full of fingerprints all the time, poor quality. The drawers function but are difficult to move, do not slide easily at all. Basically is was a bad choice on our part. I would NOT recommend this. AND there isn't a way to contact someone at Overstock to complain. This will be our last purchase from this company.

This waterfront desk arrived quickly and was packed securely. Received in perfect condition. Easy to assemble, drawers were preassembled and only legs and drawer pulls needed to be attached. Drawer pulls were low profile knobs made of wood. I replaced these easily with pretty decorative pulls to match the pulls on my daughter's closet doors. This was such a great purchase for the money!

Broken, me and the product

Arrived broken (like many other reviews). Was returning for replacement and asked for a percentage refund as this was my first purchase, I didn't use a coupon I had, and I still have $ other merchandise expected to arrive. They offered me 5 lousy bucks. Worse, when I went online to give a review I found it 36 hours after purchase for $ LESS!!! Going through the hassle of returning for REFUND. Am going to use ... which just provided me with good product and service.

Another wonderful purchase from overstock.com. The piece arrived in perfect condition and took me less than 10 minutes to assemble. You literally only have to put on the four legs and the drawer knobs...easy peasy. The material is very solid and looks like a piece you'd buy from a nice store. My only thoughts for improvement: the knobs seem a bit lesser quality than the rest of the materials, and the drawers aren't super smooth when you open them. But truly a great piece at a good price!

Nice Small Writing Desk

This is a very nice small writing desk. I needed it for an alcove in a small bedroom and it works perfectly.
