Defective Secrtional - DO NOT BUY

This product is designed in a way that the cushions are meant to absorb water and the seating underneath is built to then trap this water so that no airflow allows the cushions to ever be dry. Which in turns molds all the teak framing. This is a terrible sectional. When I reached out to costumer service with concerns there response was "our warranty does not cover the impacts of exposure to extreme climate/weather/environmental conditions, standing water or other excessive moisture, prolonged exposure to moisture or direct sunlight, or exposure to flame or excessive heat. Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns." Aka they built an outdoor sectional that is NOT meant to be outside.

Beautiful and comfortable

Our 5-piece symmetrical sectional is beautiful in our backyard. It has a minimalistic design that doesn’t overpower our small patio. Putting it together by myself took a little time, but the instructions were easy to follow. I was missing two bolts, but Allie and her team quickly had two replacement bolts sent out to complete the assembly. Highly recommend.

Good enough to keep indoors!

We assembled the couch indoors since we’ve been having so much rain here in California. We almost want to keep it here! It’s sturdy and comfortable. A couple screws were missing but the Neighbor team was prompt the send the missing screws in the mail and they arrived in just a couple days. We do notice a bit of sinking on the sides of the cushions but if you don’t put pressure on any specific corner of the cushion it’s not noticeable. I absolutely love the smooth teak frame. This is clearly a high quality piece of outdoor furniture and able to withstand lots of use.

Great sofa!

We bought the U shaped sectional with the wood arms (not cushion arm) in rust with an extra modular unit. We love it. Had a few hiccups with putting it all together- it didn’t come with enough screws and there were other minor issues with assembly (that’s why I docked 1 star). Customer service was super nice and friendly but we still needed to wait for the final few screws to arrive before we could use it, so we felt frustrated given the price we paid for this sofa. Now that it’s complete I’m really happy with it. It looks great, dries nicely and seats a lot of friends and family. It looks more like indoor furniture than the usual wicker or metal look of outdoor furniture. We haven’t gone through a NYC winter yet but the cover we purchased fits well so hopefully that will help. Overall I’m really happy with my purchase.

Took a little while to receive the sectional. But this was communicated and it actually took less time than expected.

Neighbor is awesome!

We very recently had a new screened in porch built for our backyard and obviously wanted to furnish it. I spent several months researching and looking at various sectionals online. Many from well known companies and lesser known sites. Comparing specs, prices, etc. Honestly if I spent this much time on other things in my life I wonder how much more successful I’d be? Eventually I found the Neighbor site thru a random google search for outdoor sectionals. I was immediately intrigued as the frame was made of teak and the dims would fit perfectly. I settled on the 4 seat sectional with the grey cushions. It did take a few months to arrive (which I expected). There was one delay due to supply chain issues but Neighbor was quick to let me know of the new ETA very quickly. Also their customer service team was incredibly responsive. Which is a huge plus especially when buying from a company you are unfamiliar with. The sectional was not difficult to put together. It maybe took 2 and 1/2 hours and that includes the time to unbox everything. The teak frame is way sturdy and well built. The cushions were even more beautiful than expected. They have white flecks throughout. The sectional is very sturdy and comfortable. We are so incredibly happy we purchased from Neighbor. If you are looking for sturdy, high quality outdoor furniture, I would advise to go with Neighbor. They were amazing!!!

Happy every time I see it!

We really love our new sectional. Although it took awhile to get to us because of the supply chain issues happening all over, the Neighbor team was so communicative and helpful, keeping us up to date.
