Compact, sturdy and fast

I found the packed compactness and speed of this chair to be compelling and it’s now my chair of choice for car camping. Packs into a flat square shape which is easily packed in the car between crate or other slot. Is pretty comfortable too, but it’s no sofa. I have another chair that I would say is more comfortable but it packs down into a long bulky cone shape - hard to pack.

This product is RARE IE most unusual to find such relative comefort in such a small convenient package !! The quality is not sacrificed in any area & I consider it the only plausable answer for the needs of fussy adventurers who wants ease of transport ; Ease of assembly ( remarkably so ! ) & toal reliability !

Sturdy chair

I love how small the chairs fold. Slightly heavier than your aluminium chairs but great space saver. It's not as easy to pick up the chair as it can fold up but I'm certain I'll become acquainted with the correct lifting area to minimise collapsing.

Best compact camp chair!

The Expander Camping Chair is excellent quality and is the most comfortable camp chair we've ever had. It's not only a good weight, it unfolds and folds down effortlessly and the carry handle and bag makes it a breeze to carry and pack away. Ticks all the boxes!

Not happy

Arrived in a plastic bag. One leg would not collapse when folding up for storage. Had to send it back for reimbursement. Not happy.

Expander chair

This product is excellent. The quality and design are amazing. And the chair is easy to fold and unfold quickly. But the small size of the folded chair makes easy to stow away with minimal space taken up. This is a product which is truly great value.

Love these chairs they are so compact they fit in the storage space in the boot with ease, and with the double storage bag they are easy to carry. They are also comfortable to sit on well worth the purchase

Front Runner Expander Camp Chair

Okay, not the most comfortable of chairs out there but very compact and lightweight. Also after using it on sand thoroughly clean it afterwards or the pull up section will jam up. The drink holder and phone holders could be a bit larger to accommodate a cooler on your drink and smart phones are getting bigger.

Fantastic Chairs

We tried these at a friend's camp and ordered some as soon as we got back to our camp. They are comfortable, easy to set up and very compact when folded down. These are great for regular use but absolutely perfect when ‘visiting' others for Happy Hour!

Two for the size of one - Expander chair

Remote places require considered packing, these take up next to nothing in space, but are robust and full sized. Comfort level is next level for Australia's hotter climate, materials a light and ventilated. Love our new chairs.

A compact capable comfortable Overlanding chair

I like the way it can fold out into a full size chair. It does not take up much room. It is also very sturdy for a large person. I like the way the brackets are made of metal, not plastic like so many other chairs are. I would high recommend this chair. I ended up buying a second chair for my wife.

These chairs are great! Totally recommend getting the storage bags for them. Easy to carry, when you are going on a picnic or sitting back relaxing while fishing on the beach. So lightweight and convenient. Excellent for the caravan.

Although its a clever design and small, it very easily topples backwards when you relax.

Easy search & purchase

I recently searched for the Front Runner expander chairs on the internet and this was the only place that had a website easy to navigate and with adequate information. I purchased the chairs and they were delivered before the expected date which was wonderful considering Christmas was fast approaching. The chairs a the perfect camping chair. Compact when folded. Durable storage bags. Easy to unfold. Very stable. Most important for me was comfort without sagging a necessity for my bad back!

Frontrunner expanding chairs in bag

I am looking forward to trying out these chairs in my next camping trip. They fold up in the bag and carry easily. They are light and easy to unfold once you get the idea. I am not sure how stable they would be for a heavy person.

The small folded down size combined with it's lightweight design does not compromise comfort for portability. The chairs are well designed and great to sit in. Even though the chairs come with carry handles… do yourself a favour and grab the carry case. Keeps the mess from mud/sand/dirt in the bag on the legs of the chairs in the bags rather than in your car.
