Not the best but I kept it.

So there were a few pieces of the wood frame cracked or chipped off. Wasn’t that easy to put together at all. The front piece groves didn’t want to line up at all. It was like it wasn’t cut right. Feel like it should have cost less for the quality. I wouldn’t buy it again for sure. The

Sauna Review

I chose this sauna over the Radient model because the door handle and hardware looked more modern. The radient looked like something out of the 80s. They are both made from the same manufacturer and materials. With the top vent closed, I got mine up to temp from 69 to 102 in under 10 minutes. The manual says it can take 30-45 minutes to heat up, but I don't know how high of a temperature they are talking. Outside walls are cool to the touch. I am removing a corner jetted tub in my master bath, and replacing that space with the sauna. The pictures need to be updated on the website, because the sound system is now hidden under a panel on the top. So you don't see that car stereo system hanging in the corner. Easy to assemble, make sure you have a step ladder and an assistant. The light can color change or be just plain white. Controls are on the inside and outside and are easy to use. The item was packed well, no parts were damaged or missing.

Easy to install. Works great. Love the infrared heat and the light therapy.

Update on Majestic sauna - it works now!

After I reported that the green power light on the Majestic sauna quit coming on after one use, even when it was plugged in, Lowe's sent two delivery managers to check it out. One of them, John, who is quite tall, discovered that an electric connection on top of the sauna was off - it had become detached. He pushed it in and voila - green light. We all cheered! After I apologized for my error, they could not have been more gracious. Go Lowes!

Broke down after one use

I ordered the sauna on 7-20-16. We put it together with great care and it took several hours. We finally turned it on yesterday, Sunday, August 21.

Personal Sauna

I have always wanted a sauna but no one else in the family is a fan This is a small one person until at a very reasonable price. Lower than comparable models at Wayfair, Sam's Club, etc. I got it on sale for less than $970 and used a 10% off redemption coupon along with free shipping to our local Lowes. I am no sauna expert but I am sure the materials are near the bottom end of the quality spectrum as far as saunas go. But with that said, I am very satisfied with the unit after 3 uses and think we will get many years of use out of it. It goes together rather easily (less than 1 hour) and only required a screw driver (we used an electric driver) and a step stool. Two steps required 2 people, but the rest was a one person job. The front, back, and side panels latch together fairly easily. It took longer to unbox than to assemble. The instructions are adequate but a little vague in a few spots. Two or three steps were either different for our model or not applicable. With a small 36" x 36" footprint, this doesn't take up much room at all. It is free standing and does not require any plumbing, venting or electrical work accept access to a standard household outlet Our unit warms up to 125 degrees (plenty hot for me) in under 15 minutes. A few items of note, not really cons but things to be aware of... This one person unit does not have the "Chromotherapy 8-color health and healing light" mentioned in the features list. Things that screw into the main frame, like a cup holder, magazine rack, and the music system mounting compartment just screw into the wood of the sauna rather than into hardware or pre-drilled holes. One of the connecting screws on the top panel is directly adjacent to a supporting bracket for wires going to the sound system. There would have been no way to avoid damage to the wires if the screw had been tightened all the way. The sound system is actually just an automotive AM/FM radio and CD player with MP3 player plug in port. Seemed a litte odd but works fine. All in all, for the price, I have been happy with this unit.

Love the sauna, very easy to put together, did it by myself, and I am not mechanically inclined.

Dry Sauna

Great Sauna, Very easy to put together. One person can put this together but with 2 it is better. Heats up as stated and is of nice quality. For the price I don't think you can beat it.
