Greatest birdhouse under the sun.

As a woodworker myself, I could have made this birdhouse very easily. But for the price, I wouldn't even start even thinking about making it because of so much shipper just buying it. When I got it, it's gorgeous Just plain old, gorgeous. I would recommend this birdhouse to anyone. hopefully my birds like it.

This bird house is large, heavy, and sturdy! It is built well and oh so pretty!

This birdhouse is NOT the same as what is shown in the photo

The description states one must remove TWO screws on the side to clean. The sides have very small hex screws, eleven total. The side panel is then slipped behind a "soffit" that is stapled. Cannot clean this way. One must remove all the phillip screws (eight on each side) in the roof. This is OK, but the instructions were misleading. The plastic base does not look very study.We will NOT use the plastic base as we will fabricate our own. Overall, the house is very nice, just a few issues which would not prevent me from purchasing again.

Martin House

For the high cost of the bird house, I expected it to have great workmanship, however, the quality of the material in the partitions was of pressed wood and the roof had knots in it, one which was ready to fall out.

Disappointed

I am/was really disappointed in the workmanship. Also, arrived with one side of the roof warped so bad it couldn't be screwed on flat and the other side was broke in half. There were knots and I think it may have split at that point when it warped.
