Sturdy and Strong Base - Hardware Lacking (Suggestion for Future Buyers)

The post anchors are very sturdy and powder coated for all weather durability. The hardware has a "cheap" look and if you thread a bolt into one of the stainless sleeves provided, you will see how loose the fit is. I chose not to use the provided hardware, but a trip to Home Depot saved the day. I purchased Tapcon Heavy Duty Concrete Anchors (3/8" x 3") and a Tapcon SDS Plus drill bit (3/8" x 8"). I have a hammer drill that uses SDS Plus bits, so it was an easy choice for my application. Once I marked the holes after squaring the post anchors, it was as simple as placing a piece of electrical tape on the drill bit at 3-1/2" and drilling to allow 1/2" extra for any issues (i.e. in case the concrete surface cracked and the Tapcon sank another 1/4" - 1/2"). Once the holes are drilled, I drove the anchors with an impact wrench until the bolt head was about 1/8" from being fully seated, then I finished tightening the bolt with a manual socket wrench.

Very well constructed. Heavy duty post base for 4" by 4" square posts. Replaced plastic ones we had that were torn out of a cement outside patio by Hurricane Milton. We used Tapcon cement screws with sleves, for concrete, instead of the ones supplied. Rock solid.

Works as intended

These post bases are tough. I needed to use them to build a pavilion that made of 4x4's and used these to anchor them to my concrete pad. These are sturdy and were extremely easy to install. I recommend.

Unfortunately I decided to go another way, so I am gonna have to return these to the nearest Home Depot.

These worked well for my purposes and i would purchase them again for a similar use

Solid material and top price. Same quality but much lesser price. Heavy Duty steel and all acessories with it which is a bonus . Its worth while to compare images and prices of similiar products in the net . When looking closely on image and specs often surprised when same products sold at Vevor to much lower price than other supplier. Spending an hour more on price comparison can save you money in the company, thus being more competitive on the market as your production costs gets lower.

Built a fence on my deck and these bases worked perfectly. Fit very snuggly on the 4x4 ’s and are very strong with solid steel construction. Used 2 inch lag bolts to mount to my deck. Couldn’t ask for anything better.

Didn't like the included anchors as they easily can be miss-installed and not be secure enough to hold 200 lbs required by law. I anticipated this and had purchased longer ones of a different design and my project went well. I would recommend this product to others.

This post base is heavy and comes with all the hardware to attach to both wood or concrete. Very good product.

stand build

I used them to build a kayak stand. Worked great. Came with all the mounting screws which made set up a breeze.

Post bracket is very poor quality, seams slit easily, not strong at all. Requested replacement for defective bracket, all I got was the run around, we need pictures, invoice, communicate with manufactory, empty promises to replace, been over 3 weeks still no bracket. Had to buy Simpson post bracket to finish job. Never going to go cheap again, not worth it.

Liked this product quality. Completely up to my expectation. Asked for an advice regarding drilling specification. Hopefully something good will come out of this.

Items were delivered in a timely manner. There were a few extra bolts fittings washers and screws which was ideal in the event of dropping or damaging one when installing. This was needed. Nice touch.

These were inexpensive compared to my local lumber yard prices and they work just as good.
