After a lot of research, this was the most robust and flexible gate latch I found. It was easy to install and works very smoothly.

Gate latch rod and installation fasteners (screws)

Replaced latch that connecting rod had bent within a week of installation. The screws included with this item were not long enough so needed to purchase new ones which affected installation timeline. The rod is heavy duty and the professional who installed our fencing and gate stated he will most likely begin to use this type in the future

I've had 3 styles of latches on my 4" vinyl post and this works the best.

Not really heavy duty

Nice heavy duty except for the pivot pin on the latch. It is very light weight and it sheared off in less than one season of use. Once that breaks, the latch is useless.

Works well for what we use it for

Works well for use on a commercial residence plastic fence gate for keeping in dogs and the lock hole allow a small lock to be used for added security

Good simple design

Very sturdy and easy to install. Works great. This was a replacement for a damaged latch. All parts were included with simple instructions.

Heavy Duty

I am very pleased with this latch which replaced one that was cheap and flimsy. Happy to find one in white to match my fence.
