I got this for my drafting table to replace one without wheels. It glides easily, is very adjustable and comfortable.

Nice Adjustable-height Chair

I bought this for my mother-in-law to use at her jigsaw puzzle table. This drafting chair has easy to adjust seat height, meaning no more back strain. She really likes the chair. I found it very easy to assemble - the carton included the hex key needed for tightening the few included fasteners. The price was nice, too.

Great chair and great price

Chair is very comfortable to sit in for long periods and the low back is at the right height to still feel supported when leaning back. We built our own desk using a kitchen cabinet and needed a taller chair for the additional height. This chair fit the bill and budget. I love the style.

Great chair

Perfect for the tall table that I purchased. I can adjust the height for my sewing machine and then for the cutting table. Great!

Love the chair.

I'm so happy I found this chair. After a lifetime of standing at my easel to paint, back issues made it too painful to keep standing. This chair solved the dilemma. It's super easy to get in and out of, raises and lowers with a slight pull on the lever, swivels beautifully. The cushion and back are very comfortable and it has a relatively compact footprint. The price was great. Overall a win for me!

Bought two of these as bar stools for our new kitchenThey are great! Full swivel, height adjustable, good quality and they match our mid mod vibe.

Perfect for art table

Bought this for art studio (mosaics). Works well in small space. Seat is a little on small side so would not be good for larger people.

If it only had arms

If this chair had arms it would be perfect. Having difficulty getting into the elevated seat. Otherwise very happy with the product

Good chair for the price

I ordered this chair to use at my work from home drafting desk. It only occasional use so this seemed like a good option. Like the style of the chair and having some lower back support as opposed to just a stool. Like that both the seat and footrest are height adjustable. Only disappointing thing about it is the seat padding. The padding seems very thin and you can feel the frame thru it particularly on the sides. Not sure if that will hinder the durability of the upholstery. I only use it occasionally so it will probably be fine.

Use it while painting details on larger canvases so I don't have to stand the entire time. Can't beat the price!

Good product

Well constructed, well engineered. Easy to assemble, but the assembly directions failed to note that the nipple on the top of the gas column must be removed for the seat to fit. The customer service rep at Studio Designs immediately solved the oversight for me.It is comfortable for long extended sessions at the drawing table.

Exactly what I needed and expected

The chair was easy to assemble and provides some needed Back support. It's working beautifully - oops, I'm already splattering oil paint.

Drafting chair review

This chair was very easy to set up and is comfortable for a few hours of drawing. I wish it went down a few inches more but it suits my purposes thus far! While I writing this review to enter the #sweepstakes it is accurate to my feelings!

Comfortable, right height!!

This is a wonderful Chair. I use it at my drafting table which is set up flat to hold a table easel. A drafting table is much higher than a desk, and I have had a hard time finding a drafting chiar to go with it. I got the Blick Catalog and while browsing found this. It's not leather, but it is very nice and the padding is comfortable. I love how cozy it is with the sides, it is quite comfortable and I love how high it can go! Great Gift for artists!
