Exactly what I wanted!

I am so pleased with this purchase and this company. The materials arrived quickly. The instructions were thorough. The parts were all organized in individual, labelled bags. Pay close attention to all of the pictures to know what to do. Take your time. We used the phone # for support during installation. We have had a broken part and again, support was fantastic and the part was shipped to us promptly. This is exactly what I wanted!

Great Desk - annoying assembly

I'm extremely satisfied with the quality of this desk. I was taking a risk by buying on the cheaper end, but the legs and table top are both extremely well manufactured and sturdy as could be. Assembly was a pain by myself, but just barely do-able. I advise having someone help you. My monitors will slightly shake when I bump into the desk, but the desk is solid as a rock. It's also extremely easy to move once assembled. The motor is great and the control unit is probably the only cheap feeling part about the entire product.

I love this desk. It is almost identical to the desks we had at my previous company. The desk has 2 motors and they move seamlessly together. I have been using the desk for two weeks and I stand at it and sit at it every day without issues. The table top is sleek and the desk is very sturdy. I have monitor arms attached, and there is enough space saved for my laptop, notebooks, external mouse and keyboard, phone charger and then some! I couldn't be happier and would recommend to anyone looking for a solid, reliable, standup desk!

A nightmare to put together

Out of left field, I needed a drill. There were already pre-drilled holes on the underside of the desktop to connect it to the base AND pre-drilled holes randomly placed that didn't match up to anything, so why on earth weren't the other holes for the power box, the control and some other areas pre-drilled!? The few holes that were pre-drilled did not accommodate the screws even with my electric screwdriver. I brought out the manual screwdriver and that didn't work and I now have calluses on my hands from trying to drive the screws. So the desktop is also superglued to the base.

This standing desk is made of great quality! Definitely a great buy. Easy to assemble and the color matches to what I read online. I appreciate that it is sturdy(as I have 3 monitors and a laptop plus books and office supplies on the desk). The lift mechanism is great as it lifts and lowers everything on my desk so smoothly even after how many months of use. The only con/suggestion is it would have been nicer if it had a slot under the desk for the extension wire and cords to be placed. I had to make do with some double sided tape but it is all worth it. I really recommend this product especially those working from home and would like the flexibility to sit and stand while working.

The desk itself is good quality and nice looking, though it is quite heavy at 105 lbs. my problem was with the delivery (desk was delivered days early, which would've been nice if I'd known that was going to happen so I could make sure to be home), and was left over 20 feet away from my front door, in the rain. OK, that's super annoying but I can get past that as long as I have a good desk. I'm one of those people who loves assembling furniture and i'm actually quite good at it. Stupidly, I trusted the product description on this page to tell me what I would need in order to assemble this desk. In all the years I've been assembling dressers, beds, shelving units, and chairs purchased online, I have never needed tools that I didn't have, much less power tools. I included photos of the instruction manual showing that you do in fact have to have a drill to assemble this desk. The table top comes with some pre-fabricated holes, but you only use half of them. The other half are unnecessary, and it's missing several that you actually need, hence the need for a drill. Contrary to what customer support would have you believe, the material of the table top is so dense, that you cannot use a hammer and a nail to create pilot holes, nor can you drill directly into the table top using only a screwdriver, without pilot holes. So while the desk is nice, I had to purchase a power drill, as well as a separate set of drillbits, on top of the price of this desk, just to be able to assemble the desk. Had the correct information been listed on the product page to begin with, I probably would not have purchased this desk. I complained about this over a month ago when I first got the desk, and was told the product page will be updated. It still is not.

I have a sit/stand desk at my agency office and LOVE IT. Since I will be working from home more frequently now, I decided to purchase one myself for my home office. This desk is much larger than many others for a similar price. It's about 6 feet wide which gives me a lot of space for dual widescreen monitors and more. Luckily, it just fits into a window alcove in my home office (also our guest room) with about an inch to spare on each side. It seems well made and very sturdy. My very handy husband assembled it in about two hours with minimal assistance from me. He is impressed with the design. We are both impressed with the smooth operation going up and down. My complaints are that [1] The laminate looks different and cheaper than it looked in the website photos (not too big a deal); [2] It is expensive but, that said, I saw the same brand and model number on another website for over $XXXXX!); and [3] It has no pencil drawers or storage whatsoever. I found some drawers on Amazon that should work, but that's another ~$XX (ugh). I'm making due with a pencil cup for now. There were some cheaper drawer options that attached with adhesive that might actually work for my purposes. Ultimately, I do recommend this desk.

Love love love this desk. I had to leave my stand up desk behind thanks to COVID. Had been looking for a home replacement for a while given that length was a problem for me. Appreciated that this desk came in the smaller size (47") while still maintaining a sharp look and functionality. I was able to put this together myself given that I don't have a helper available. Wasn't too difficult to do if you're willing to make some shifts like laying on the floor to position the top. I didn't have the same problems with having to screw new holes in metal as I believe I read in the reviews. You do have to drill small start holes for the screws under the desk in order to position the mechanics that make the desk rise and fall, but not too difficult if you have the tools. No pinching points in my opinion as others have stated with the wires given that you can position them anywhere. I was able to wrap it around the the outside of the desk since this will be hidden to most (see pictures). Beyond that the mechanics of the desk work just fine and I have no complaints. I took a risk in getting this desk given the price point and what some of the reviews stated and I'm glad I did because I'm not disappointed.

Bought these for my kids to use for "Remote School learning" during Covid-19. The desks are ok, they only have a single motor with a weak shaft and plastic gears, so they are no where near as good as another desk I already owned which used one motor per leg and all metal parts. (I've the better desk now for 4 years with no issues and still love it!)

Wow, I'm so mad at myself for not ordering this desk sooner. Back on Memorial Weekend I ordered a desk I had been eyeing for years. The site said it was in-stock. Well I was in for a journey. After four months of it being back ordered with no idea of when it would be back in, I perused Overstock and found this desk. It wasn't identical to the other desk but wound up being better because of the color and the bigger surface area. Oh and when Overstock's site said it was in-stock, it actually was!! I ordered it, confirmed inventory with a rep, and received my item in about 10 days. My only goof up was not signing up for Club O and earning rewards for this purchase. It is only me so I assembled this desk myself. Lots of bolts and a couple instructions I had to take a second read on but I blame the excess caffeine in my system (lol). It took me about 2hrs to complete the install and that was just me (5'1" female) so if you have a helper, it will go faster. Button operation is so smooth. My new chair from Overstock fits great with it. I wish I had saved the months of frustration with my folding table and worn chair and bought with Overstock in the first place.

Happy with it now that I overcame assembly!

Love the desk and great value. Time will tell how it holds up but it seems mechanically solid. Good directions for assembly but they sent me the wrong size allen wrench. I made do but it was definitely a hindrance. Good packaging and no damages. Lots of holes on the bottom of the desk but for some reason you have to drill your own holes for some parts.. that was a head-scratcher. Overall, I'm happy with the purchase now that I've overcome the assembly hurtles. Works well with a tri-monitor mounting system, X3 27in. monitors. Love that this desk is wider than alot of other desks too.

I have been teleworking since mid March of this year and I am so glad I finally made this purchase. It looks like I'll continue to telework for the foreseeable future and cannot imagine what that would be like if I were to do it with a standard desk. The Baen Height Adjustable Standing Desk is a GAME CHANGER! I like it as much if not more than the manual sit/stand desk I have at my regular office.

Very shocked (in a good way).

I am a big guy and need a wide large table that can accommodate my height and long arms along with my two monitor setup (one monitor is 34"), two speakers, and my large PC tower. Usually, tables is something you need to see physically but due to Covid, Ikea's tables were out of stock; Wayfair was too expensive, so I took a chance with this. I honestly did not expect much. I'm glad I got it! I have to say the quality of this thing is superb! The instructions were surprisingly good too. This thing is a beast. It is beautiful and have little complaints. It fits everything and I'm happy with the height mechanism. Beware though this thing is HEAVY. The only little complaint is that the surface gets sticky if my arms are sweaty but that's not really a con.

Surprisingly sturdy with a great height range

This desk is awesome! Knowing that when I request a motorized sit/stand desk for someone in my department at work I'm charged over $**** by facilities, I wasn't expecting much for this desk in this price range, but honestly, I can't tell the difference between this one and the ones we get at work. The legs are sturdy. The desktop isn't some hollow garbage like you get from****. It's heavy and stable. Assembly took maybe 30 minutes working almost entirely on my own. Since I got the 72" version I got some assistance from a family member when it came time to stand the desk up. Moving it without dragging is a two-person affair. I also assembled in the room it's living in because of tight corners. I ordered an under-desk carriage for my desktop, and plan to mount the surge protector to the bottom of the desk as well to clean things up a little bit. I was worried that the desk wouldn't go high enough for me (I'm 6'2" and had that problem with one of the desks at work) but at max height, this is perfect for me. I could probably even put it down an inch or so. I was also worried about it being wobbly at max height, but it's no more wobbly than the one I have at work, possibly even a touch less wobbly. For reference, the large monitor in the picture is 42 inches. If you've avoided sit/stand desks because of price or fear of quality, then you should take the plunge with this one. All you need is a screwdriver and you're ready to assemble. It even comes with cable management ties.
