Color not as pictured

These are actually very nice rugs! Quality seems good! The colors though are not as rich as pictured. First of all, the richness is uneven, being darker in some spots than in others. They are also much more of a rust/orange color than red or burgundy, and has very little black, as the description says. Also, the sizing is off a bit. I ordered the 2 x 8 ft. Runner and it's more like 1' 11". Much skinnier than what I was expecting or used to. Not sure if I'll keep them or not!

Safavieh Herat Rug

This rug is beautiful. It was advertised as red and navy and colors are rust and blue. I decided to return. I understand shipping was to be paid by me. Fed Ex wanted 282.00 to ship back rug costing 374.00. no way. Amazon selling same rug for 233.00 and their returns are easy. Don't purchase from Area Rugs without checking prices elsewhere.

It's a rug that goes very well with classic interiors. It is a very soft, hairless, and well-made product. I strongly recommend that money is worth it.

This is such a classic rug! The colors and patterns are beautiful, and the distressed effect paired with the tassels give it a very cozy, lived-in feel, which I love. I have two other area rugs from the Safavieh “Herat” collection as well, and have been so impressed with the style and quality.

Authentic Old World Persian Loft Look!

My rug is beautiful! I searched through 1000's of rugs to find this one. If you are going for the authentic lofty look, this is the one. The color, the texture, size (8x10) and the fringe are all perfect. You'll see some red, burgundies, dark blues, hints of blacks, ivory, and other old-world colors. The rug looks perfect on original hardwood floors. Frames the entire living area.
