My rug arrived sooner than I expected which was nice since I was ready for it. The instructions said not to rip off the plastic covering down the length of the roll in case I needed to return it for some reason. Rather, open the end of the roll so I did. At first I hesitated after I peeled back the plastic end and saw that the rug was not the expected color red at all. So I thought about it and decided the rust color would be alright for me. I was immediately happy with the quality of the rug and it is truly vibrant which I like. I did locate a couple of hard quarter size globs (glue?) at the base of the rug that I couldn't see but can feel when I walk over it. Not happy about that but I thought that since it needs a pad under it anyway (saltillo floor) maybe those areas would be less noticeable. The rug is a nice heavy weight and adds warmth to the room which was my intent. Still waiting for the pad.

Rich and high quality- beautiful in black! I've had my set of these rugs for 3 years...they are so durable...I use them in my mudroom and after 3 years and 2 harsh winters of snow and salt tracked in they still look perfect! Super EZ to maintain w/ just an infrequent vacuuming. The pic of the black online is not accurate for the edge tones...online the color looks so gold, but in reality its off-white with the goldish-sage swirls going through the off white color. Hints of pale turquoise and salmon color throughout. Looks gorgeous with a door I painted Robin's egg blue. Only negative is the black can show lint or hair- but really not that bad. These rugs are thick.

Luxurious rugs!

Very thick nice rugs. I ordered 3 of the 2’3 by 8". The colors are as depicted. Very good quality. The fibers tufts are very densely packed. For me they were perfect. I would say they are so soft and thick in quality that they stand a least an inch off my wood floors. I made the mistake on the width of them. Thinking I would need 3 for my bedroom but the area where I needed 2 before I only need 1. Good thing my guest room needs runners too. So I reordered another for my guest room. I am extremely happy with the quality of these rugs. Better than I imagined. You might need non slip floor mats to go with and some anti slip rug grips for the one end that lifts. Over time it will lay flat. But for my high traffic area it is a must so we do not trip on them.

I’m so happy I opted for this rug! Excellent quality, beautiful colors - just perfect to replace my prior Overstock rug that was destroyed in a flood. A great value and super fast shipping too! Laid flat after weighting the edges for about an hour. Colors are slightly more muted than site shows. What looks teal on the site is more colonial blue, but teal enough to work for me. Other colors are rust, brown, taupe and olive. I’m pleased the black background is rich, but broken up well by the pattern. Too much black is hard to keep clean. Thanks Overstock. You won’t be disappointed in this rug!

The carpet is very plush and beautiful. The reason I did not rate it a full 5 is because the item I received had a different pattern with a medallion in the center. I had specifically chosen the carpet without the medallion because where I wanted to place it, the carpet was going To have to be off-center due to my not wanting to cover up the air ducts. Having a center medallion makes that placement more obvious. Because the carpet is so very heavy, it was not worth shipping back and we've gotten used to the placement. With regards to shedding, I really haven't noticed an abnormal amount but with 2 dogs, I need to vacuum constantly anyways. There's definitely more dog hair than carpet fiber.

I spent hours on the internet looking through various sites for the perfect runner for our new home. It needed to be at least 12 feet long but preferably longer than 12 feet, it also needed not to be too fussy a design, and it must be able to be put on a floor that has radiant heat coming through it. After switching the search to Overstock, I quickly found just the perfect runner that fit all of my criteria and it was this Kashan Black/Beige Wool 14 foot runner. When the runner arrived and I rolled it out, I was extremely happy to find a very thick and beautiful runner that was exactly as described. I can't imagine anyone being disappointed after receiving this runner and placing it upon their floor. The only minor drawback has been the amount of shedding it does when I vacuum it but even that does not qualify as a negative; in my opinion. Once again, a great buy from Overstock.

This is the second item I've ever bought on Overstock.com. The first purchase, two mirrors, was a total disaster. Wound up cancelling after receiving four broken mirrors. So I was hesitant to order again but figured a rug can't break during shipping. This rug is way, way nicer than I expected! It is thick, dense, and feels much more expensive than it was. I read many of the reviews here and trusted their descriptions of the colors more so than the photos on the website. The colors are deep but muted as many have said. That actually works better for me. I would describe the colors as black, deep beige, chocolate brown, terra cotta, dark olive green, sage green, dijon mustard and teal/dark aqua blue. I listed the colors in order of prominence in the rug. I have my rug in our dining room on dark wood floor. It looks like a rug I could easily have spent over $1,000 for, or more. I don't normally write reviews about things I buy but I'm super happy about this rug! I would definitely recommend this rug.
