Although this futon frame is adorable, it doesn't feel very sturdy. I had it assembled by a professional Civil Engineer who can build and put together just about anything, from bridges to futons to the most intricate children's toys, and mechanics imaginable. Because of this and his previous work, I know it was assembled correctly. Also, I am 5'4 and weigh 115. I couldn't find a weight limit on the description but didn't imagine I would exceed it. I would definitely recommend looking at this closely before your purchase.
I was most concerned about the assembly. I do like the hardwood features. Shipping was great and assembly was ok.
