carefully review web site when making selection

I purchased this product, had selected "Black Aluminum", expected Teak on chair arm rest and table top given the name of the product "Heck Extendable TEAK Outdoor Dining Set" includes the word "TEAK" as well as other details on the page that inferred teak materials even when the "Black Aluminum" option is selected. I expected back aluminum frame bit teak table top and chair accents. Going back and reviewing the page for the product I can see there are diferent images for the aluminum but still I think a very poorly laid out web site andas I unaked the product I thought there was an error. Anyway, at this point I will be keeoing what I received, not exactly what I wanted/expected but at elast quality of the roduct does appear good.

Beautiful table and chairs. Packing was great and really easy to install and operate. So far we are 100% pleased with the purchase!

Nice backyard dining table

This table looks really nice and I like that it can extend to a larger area. However, I wish the 3 chairs per side could tuck under the table. If you line all 3 chairs up on one side next to each other, they don't fit under the table due to the table legs being in the way. If the manufacturer had just set the table legs further by 2 inches, the chairs would be able to tuck under.

Beautiful table and chairs, expertly packaged

Beautiful teak table with black aluminum frame, as advertised. Packaging was fantastic. There was a slight dent on one corner of the table frame, but hardly noticeable and not worth the hassle of a return. This is a large package and will take two people to move around. Chairs arrived in two separate boxes. The expert packing by HiGold prevented most scratches, dents and warping. Assembly was easy. Bolt holes were properly aligned and threaded holes received bolts perfectly. Holes had extra metal to prevent stripping. Looks great. Highly recommend.

We love this table, the quality of the material was well above our expectations. It’s is absolutely beautiful I don’t think the pictures give it justice It fits our space well. We haven’t tried to extend it yet but I will edit the review if there are any issues. LOVE THIS TABLW

I love this table and chairs but they require a lot of maintenance. I had to put a heavy clear coat sealer on the table top and arms of the chairs. Three chairs do not fit next to each other on each side of the table. They are too wide. We put two chairs at the end. I would suggest to buy a cover for the table and chairs when it is not in use.

Great table with a few issues.

Great table and looks just like online photos. It took about a month to get here, so that was a bit annoying. The chairs themselves are not very wide if you have larger people who would need to use them. I think the teak needs to be oiled, especially the table appears unfinished. I do wish all the chairs would fit under the table when fully open, we ended up putting two of the chairs with another table for now.

Excellent outdoor dining set!!

We are very pleased with this purchase. Even ordering it over the phone was a pleasant experience, with helpful staff. We love the quality of extension mechanism, and the teak. We like the light weight of chairs, but good looking modern style. Will be great this summer. We've been looking for years, and this had everything we were looking for.

Exceptional Dining Set

This is an absolutely fabulous dining set. Higold claims to work with Italian designers and it certainly looks that way. Everything about this table shows attention to the most subtle aspects of form and function. The fit and finish are perfect. The teak is smooth as a baby's behind. The powder coat has uniform slight texture and is more on the dark gray than black scale. I was concerned the bar across the front of the chair seat would be uncomfortable, but the fabric is taught and your legs do not contact the bare. The chairs stack compactly and while lightweight they are plenty sturdy. The table legs are easy to attach with the included Allen wrench. The bolts are stainless and when tight the table is rock solid. The coolest part of this table is the leaf raising mechanism. Unlock the table and with a gentle pull the leaf pops solidly into place. Retracting is just as simple and both can be done by a single person. All of this mechanism appears to be stainless or aluminum and moves very smoothly. Since nobody seems to have detailed the assembly or lift mechanism I have thrown in a couple of pictures. As other have noted, three chairs will not fit in the space between the legs. If you always dine with eight people you may want to look at another table but if that just happens occasionally it is still plenty comfortable even for the one person with a table leg between their legs. After receiving this set, I would not have been surprised to pay twice or more the price on Overstock. If the review allowed, I'd give it ten stars!

Great product.

This table and chair set is amazing. First, the way it was packaged was perfect. It really protected the item. The table is easy to assemble. You just have to screw in the 4 legs. The table extends smoothly. The chairs come fully assembled and are truly light weight. This product looks good and I feel like it will last. I have no complaints.

Super super happy with my table, someone mentioned that 3 chairs don't come under, its true, but when you have guest and use all the chairs -it doesn't matter, when extended- can fit even 10people (2extra chairs), normaly i keep it closed, not extended with 6chairs, 2 waiting in garage for bigger party, extender very sturdy and easy ti use, modern.
