Terrible design! Fake posts do not reach glass.

I have rarely been so incensed by bad design. We are building a new house and purchased this light fixture for the dining area many months ago. The three angled vertical support posts for the lamp are FAKE and do not reach or touch the inverted glass globe. A person can stand across the room and clearly see that these posts or rods hang uselessly in the air! It looks so awful. Unfortunately, we are past the return window, so we cannot return this piece of junk. App is not uploading my photos.

This light is beautiful, a very nice brass/gold, not shiny. I was intending to purchase these to use as kitchen pendants, so I got the 16" to fit the size of my island according to the dimensions the internet bloggers said are right, but once I received the light, I realized it's about 30" tall. It looked GIANT, especially with my 8 foot ceilings. I ended up buying the smallest version of this light and it's still beautiful and will be a better scale for my kitchen. I would think the 16" would only work in a very large kitchen with high ceilings, or as a high-ceiling foyer light or something like that. Sixteen inches wide is not huge for a light, but 16" wide by 30" tall is really a hefty fixture. Very pretty though!

Foyer Chandelier

This 4 light chandelier was better than expected. It looks beautiful in our foyer. I searched for a few months to find the perfect size and finish to match our new home. You won't be disappointed with this light fixture.

Very Pretty Hanging Lamp

We installed on a cathedral ceiling. You have to feed the wiring through the chain before attempting to install. There is plenty of wire and chain (in fact we cut a lot off even with the cathedral ceiling). The wiring for the lamp is not marked as "hot" and "neutral". The wires should be colored coded or marked and are not, which was our only issue during the install. The installation, after figuring out the wires, was quick and easy.

I put this right by our front entrance, we had been looking to replace ours for quite some time and this one fit the bill quite nicely!

Beautiful, fits in with many styles

This is a very pretty chandelier that fits in with many styles. Our home is a bit Farmhouse, a bit Shabby Chic, and a bit Cottage. The chandelier does not look out of place at all. We have it hanging in our entryway. The four lights are enough to cast away shadows, without being too bright to be comfortable on the eyes. The lights are dimmable. We're considering putting another one over the kitchen island. We got the gold, but it also comes in matte black or brushed nickel.

Well Made Light

A handsome light that can be used in a foyer, entryway, or small dining room. The lamp has a nice antique brass finish that would complement a wide range of decors. From a transitional to a fairly traditional home, the lamp would be quite at home. It is elegant without being overstated.

Beautiful Chandelier!

We love the chandelier. The color matches our decor and the style fits well with our home. Instructions were easy to follow. Light bulbs were not included.

LIght weight and easy to hang

I like the style of this light, but it takes a very specific foyer to fit in. The price point is probably as high as it could be for the quality of this light, but pricing something high just because hanging lamps are typically expensive, does not make for a good sales pitch. Granted when you are hanging a light, lighter is better, but the materials and detail in this fixture are probably not quite up to the "good bang for your buck" mark. That being said, it installed fine, was packed well, and if you like the look, you could spend a lot more and never know the difference, so if you have a spot this fixture would fit, I’d give it a look. I would much rather prefer this style of lamp outside, but not only is this one not rated for damp or outdoor use (no bathroom use,) without glass, it would become a bird nest haven in no time. All parts (not tools) needed to install to existing ceiling mount box were included.

Oh my goodness this is nice

Where to start? well first off the chandelier was so easy to assemble, the instructions are very straight forward. there is not a lot of weight to it but yet it is sturdy and very well constructed even the bends and welds are very nice.as for the hardware all that was included (hooks,chain and wiring was all quality grade. Only thing not included was the bulbs but they are very inexpensive and if I had been thinking I would have gotten the flickering bulbs that simulate a candle. well worth the purchase price. Cheers

Beautiful design

This is a well built sturdy lamp. Also it has a beautiful finish. The overall design is what attracted me to this product. I was impressed with the hardware. It was also solid and functional. The chain had threaded chain connectors, that made installation easy. I will definitely recommend this brand to others. I will be purchasing more of these fantastic lights.

Looks great!

This light comes with ample chain to position it in any room appropriately. Its simple lines and candelabra have an understated elegance about it that draws your attention to it but does not overwhelm the room. Mine will look fantastic once the new larger dining table arrives! I did have to cut out a large portion of chain for our install but that was simple to do. If nit pick it I would say that the candelabra part isn't straight and looks as if it may have been bent out of shape a tad but not enough that most people would notice. I personally am thrilled with this light and would recommend it to anyone looking for a simple but classy addition for a dining room or foyer.

The "Lucid Lighting - 4-Light Matte Black Traditional Cage Chandelier" is well made and stylish. It is much larger than I thought and unfortunately I was unable to install it in the entryway foyer as when centered in entryway the door would hit it. So I will need to install it elsewhere.

4 light Antique Gold traditional cage chandelier

This is a very nice chandelier and was well packaged. The info for this fixture states that it is a 16" fixture so when I ordered this fixture, I assumed that it was 16" tall but no it is 16" wide. You need to be aware of that info if you have 8' ceilings as I do. My fixture hangs about 5ft off the floor with no chain installed. This fixture would be perfect for 10ft ceilings or higher. The antique gold finish looks nice, and it matches the ceiling fans I have perfectly. This Chandelier was very easy to install.

Big light

Great light has a antique finish to it that gives it a ornamental vibe it does require tall ceilings to hang it or you can remove all the chain and hang it on a standard 8ft ceiling over a dining room table

Statement piece

I wanted to replace the main entry light in our foyer so it would give the area more flair. This is a very large statement light and because it has 4 small bulbs it isn't too bright. It was fairly easy to install, the only downside is having to put the wire through the chain. We then had to decide how long we wanted the chain and wire, depending on how low we wanted it to hang. There is 8ft so you get plenty of height options. Definitely decide on length before running wire through chain, this took some time and was tedious. When we were installing it I realized the bulbs are not included, so no lighted pictures. Overall its a nice light for the foyer, it does come in 3 color options as well. I recommend that you put in a room or foyer that has at least 10ft or higher ceilings it is a big statement light! I absolutely love it.

STUNNING UNIQUE CAGE CHANDELIER WITH FOUR LIGHTS!

The chandelier was delivered securely packaged with styrofoam. All hardware was individually wrapped with easy instructions. The light fixture requires four E12 60W bulbs which are not included but can be readily purchased at Lowes Home Improvement Store.

Super cute light

The light was really easy to hang. It came well packaged with extra cardboard inside the bulb areas. The bulb area actually hangs like a pendulum. Really cute look. The directions were clear and simple to follow. Another cool feature was the end hooks on the chain unscrew to attach. So simple and no marks from squeezing chains together with pliers. This light is very trendy and will really add to my updated decor
