I would highly recommend this writing desk it is well built. The desk is easy to assemble instructions are easy to follow and takes about a half hour to assemble. It looks great in the space

Great functional addition to my modern farmhouse decor! The gray wood tone and cross side bars make this desk unique and attractive. The drawer opens smoothly and has plenary of room for writing essentials. I highly recommend!

Rustic charm

This was relatively easy for one person to put together....

This was relatively easy for one person to put together. It took me about an hour using my own Allen wrench instead of the one provided. It would have taken twice as long using that one.

Sturdy

The bar at the bottom cannot be installed due to the positions of the holes for installation which are on the wrong side, we still kept it since its a minor design flaw, otherwise the desk is nice for its price.

The smell is awful. There is a warning sticker that says it was made with formaldehyde and causes...

I love the way it looks and assembly was super easy. However it did have a very strong chemical smell for like a week. Also the screw for the knob that opens the drawer is too short. So I have to go to a store to find the correct screw.

Beautiful sturdy desk!

This desk is perfect! I am currently working from home and this desk is big enough to fit all my equipment with room left over. Its very sturdy! It does have a drawer that opens

Mixed Feeings

The desk is nice and sturdy but the directions were backwards.. The desk was damaged with knicks and cracks when i opened it. Also the bar across the bottom of the base is very flimsy and will break easily. I didn’t return because I am badly in need of a desk and it took almost a month to receive.

The directions are no help whatsoever. It just shows you a picture of the desk basically put together. First try i put it together wrog. the bar ended up in the front. Other than that the desk is very sturdy heavy and stylish. Great buy from Walmart
