This is an extremely well made bar stool in counter height. The color is beautiful, but more of a greige than gray. I ordered 3 stools & 1 arrived with a cracked back...it was replaced immediately. I was very pleased.

Beautiful

Beautiful! These are gorgeous. NOTE: The back design varied slightly (in the heighth of portion connecting design to base in the center of the back). I had originally ordered 4 and only had room for 3. This helped because I was able to return the 1 that was most different. I am incredibly picky. My husband and adult children did not notice the difference without me showing it to them.

I ordered 3 Hillsdale barstools and the wood screw holes would not line up at all, so after spending nearly an hour on 1 of the 3 chairs, I am so exhausted!! I guess I will need to return them!

Solid pieces of furniture

I purchased the stools for my new kitchen island. The stools were pretty easy to put together and I am extremely happy with the quality . The stools feel solid and the cushioned seat top is perfect!

Beautiful barstools

These chairs are absolutely beautiful! I've been wanting to replace our kitchen barstools for a long time but couldn't find anything I liked until now. The only dilemma is that it lists the color as gray. It's not. It's taupe with blue in it. I was going to paint them because I needed dark gray but decided to leave it alone. It's extremely comfortable and the seat is larger than my old bar stools. Very well made and easy to put together!

Counter Bar Stools

These counter chairs are so beautiful. If you are looking for a classy alternative to counter bar stools, these are the ones. Comfortable with the foot rests; however, the seat cushions could be a little more firm.

LOVE how beautiful and sturdy these counter stools are! They are solid and substantial. I'm sure they will hold up well over the years. The gray wash finish is so pretty but subtle. It really blends in well with my gray cabinets. Husband easily assembled all 3 in about an hour. My only minor issue is the black bolts show on the inside of the bottom ring/foot rest. A simple wood peg in the gray wash finish would have been nice. But I may put some paint on them so they aren't as obvious. Overall these are very comfortable, large scale stools that look and feel high end. They really elevate the look of my kitchen. We have already received plenty of compliments, even from my daughter who is an interior designer. If you want a quality piece of furniture that is also beautiful, buy these great stools.

This chair is nice looking and appears to be well built. However the color is not as it was shown/described. There is an orange undertone to the wood that did not match nicely with the other wood tones in my kitchen. Unfortunately for this reason I will need to return it.

They are beautiful stools. The fabric has a shimmer which is beautiful. They are very large chairs so make sure you measure. They were very easy to put together. They swivel very smoothly. The only complaint is that there are lots of chips on the finish. I'm going to contact Hillsdale furniture to see about touch up pens.

Great quality. The wood is much lighter than in the picture. Beautiful design. Back heavy so you have to be careful when you move the chair when sitting on it.

I absolutely love these barstools. They are quality made and beautiful. The seat is extra roomy and comfortable. We always eat at our bar countertop instead of the table so it was important to have something comfortable. Swivel is a great bonus! I am very happy with my purchase!

Misrepresented color

This chair is light blue with a glaze over it. It looks nothing like the picture. Wish I could post a pic of what it actually is. And it’s apparently not returnable! Do not buy this chair!

Beautiful and sturdy! I have two in my office (tall desks) and love them. They swivel and support your back. Foot rest (the bar near the bottom) saves my legs. Expensive but worth it! Recommend!

Very sturdy and well made chair. Seat is large and swivels easily. Very well balanced, not wobbly. Seat is a little firm, but chair feels like a well made piece of furniture. Finished is kind of a multi glaze gray tone.

look great, but sturdy enough?

I have had to tighten these stools several times in a few months. (they are heavily used ). I am concerned about their longevity. I contacted the manufacturer and they resent me the assembly directions. I had put it together the correct way so I am not sure why they continue to loosen. That being said, they are very nice looking stools.

Best Stools Ever

These stools were the best quality possible very high end pieces look like a million and the quality matches. Easy to put together, well packaged. Beautiful rich tones in color. Very comfortable. They swivel smoothly. The seat is larger than I thought, but make the stool look and feel very rich. Best stools ever. I loved them so much more in person the one photo did not do justice at all. Everyone who sees them loved them a designer asked where I got them he loved them so much too.

I like the chair, but..

The box it came in wasn't properly sealed so some of the hardware fell out of the box. Then inside the box the bag that all the screws and washers were in also was not properly sealed and there were missing washers and screws that I had to go to Home Depot to replace. When I inspected the chair itself I really liked the design, but there were two spots where in shipping it had gotten dinged up and I had to touch up the paint to hide it. For the price I would have thought it would have been packaged better.
