The rug is beautiful and sturdy and appears to be very well made. My only warning, and hence the 4 stars, is that there are tiny white fibers sporadically woven throughout so it always looks dirty! Which is particularly annoying because I learned the hard way that a black rug needs to be constantly vacuumed (I mean constantly!) to look nice. But due to the tiny white fibers, immediately after vacuuming it never looks entirely lint-free. I would think the natural colored one is easier to take care of… The issue with black rugs being a constant chore to keep clean will be true across brands, so just know that going in. The quality on this is great though and the look completed my son’s bedroom!

I love this rug! Looks even better in person. Perfect shade of ivory, pile is a nice height and rug is very soft. Rug came folded and did have some creases, but after a couple of days they were gone. This rug does shed. Most rugs shed. So I was prepared and not disappointed. Prepare to fill your vacuum canister at least 3 times. But I’ve had the rug in my living room for 2 weeks and it’s no longer shedding. The quality is surprisingly good considering the price. Overall we are very happy with this rug and would definitely recommend it.

I love the color of this rug! It really is gorgeous and identical to the color in the photos. It is also very thick and cushy. So comfortable! I’m going with 4 stars, though, because you need to know that it sheds really bad. Maybe it’s not a whole lot worse than other wool rugs, but the vibrant blue fuzz clumps that were floating around our rec room for months made the shedding seem pretty substantial.

Perfect!

Just like picture, but more impressive once delivered. Lush, thick pile. Beautiful creamy beige, a very neutral beige, with silvery midtown gray design. Subtle but makes a statement. Very well made. Stitching underneath looks exceedingly well done. Thinking about purchasing a second one in a different size.

I really regret buying this rug and hope I can prevent someone else from feeling the same way. I bought the White/Grey color and this grey is BLUE and shiny which makes it look very cheap. The rug sheds a ton, even when I don’t use the brush on the vacuum. I end up having to vacuum and then take the hose off and go around the edges a second time. It’s also very lumpy, which isn’t nice to walk on at all. It has gotten very dirty very quickly and is near impossible to clean because of the shedding issue. I would not recommend this rug to anyone and wish i could go back in time

Happy my new vacuum still works after this...

Follow-up review ~1 month later... to say this rug is cheap is an overstatement. We don’t have any pets, but it looks like we do from the white wool fiber “hairs” that continue to waft across our hardwood floors and on our clothes after we watch TV in the room. We’ll use it through winter, then it is off to the dumpster. Do not buy. Our new Safavieh rug arrived in August. First time vacuuming it - huge mess. Brand new Kenmore canister vacuum, new dust bag inserted - rug fibers everywhere, started pushing large wool chunks back out, vacuum overheated due to fibers filling the bag and hose, and wouldn’t turn on. The carpet is vacuumed weekly, we have no pets, and there are still white fibers all over our clothes (after sitting on the leather couch, not the rug) one month later. And we are still pulling out stray threads from the rug. Would have returned, but Overstock would have charged us more than the rug value to ship back a poor quality product. I would not advise purchase of a rug or other large item at Overstock unless you know exactly what you are getting.

Not true navy

Well, I am super disappointed. I ordered this rug with high expectations from all the reviews, fully expecting to receive a navy-colored rug. But it is not a true navy. When it arrived, I found it to be an 80s type blue. I am so beyond disappointed because I looked for months for the right navy rug for our space, and absolutely adored the pattern on it. DO NOT buy if you are hoping for a true navy blue to match an existing color scheme. If you do not care about blue-colored variance though, you may still really like this rug. The patterning on it and the material are perfect. Now if only the color had been what was advertised...\nI added a photo of me holding what I consider to be a true navy--a little felted wool ball--next to the rug right after it arrived. You can see that the rug is much lighter than navy.

The color of this rug is spot on compared to the pictures online. The suble light blue tones in the rug make it go well with any gray color or earth tones in the room. Be aware that the rug needs to be vacuumed alot during the first few months due to the nature of wool and piling. Unfortunately, my pup had an accident on it, but the colors did not run when I cleaned it. Definitely pet friendly!

Very nice rug. Soft to the touch on bare feet and not itchy (unless you are allergic to what it is made of) which is what I was hoping for since I don't usually wear shoes or socks in the house. The rug is ivory and black but in certain light the ivory might seem discolored when it is not (I think due to strands hitting the light and just pressure from some carpet fibers being stepped on . Seems like it might shed a little initially but only time will tell. I ran my Dyson over it and it didn't pick up much. I have this in my dining room which is wood floor and I will likely buy a thick rug pad for underneath the rug - it just feels okay without anything underneath but the carpet isn't plush enough where you don't feel the floor underneath. For the sale price I'm pretty happy with it. The way it is shipped via Overstock though you basically need to cut the rug out of the two layers of thick plastic (even though it says to just cut the end and slide the rug out in case you need to return the rug, this is totally not possible the rug was wrapped so tight).
