I bought this as a gift and after the Dad assembled it, it was missing a bolt to keep the bucket on the truck. I’ve been trying for 3 days to get a replacement part!! What a waste of time and embarrassing situation. Never again Wayfair! You’re fired!!
I cannot express how grateful I am for this product. My grandson never leaves his tractor. He sits on it to watch his 30 minute videos right before bed. He screams around the corners in the kitchen and the living room on his tractor. It is a go to play item in his house. it wasn’t the easiest to put together, but I think it might be partly my fault for trying to do so without the instructions
Ship to store
The toy was rather small but a good size for my 2 year old nephew. It was easy to assemble and seems sturdy. He loved it. However, my package was delivered to my neighbors. I had the ring footage %26 was still denied a refund. I almost reordered but after harassing my neighbors I was finally able to retrieve it. I’d suggest getting your items shipped to the store.
Gave this to my grandbaby for his first birthday. He is now three years old and its the first and last thing he plays with every time he comes to visit. Best toy I ever purchased.
Just ok
Scooter smaller and lighter than expected. Seat is too wide for our oversized 1 year old. 1 year old legs were uncomfortably stretched too wide on seat and cried. Maybe for a 2 year old.
DONT BUY THIS ITS JUNK!! I received this for my nephew's 1st bday present. Thank God I decided to put it together because the bucket is junk and now I have to find something else to give him last minute. We couldn't even put it together it was so bent and out of shape. Garbage.
poorly constructed when i put it together one piece would not hold and so the product does not work. a friend ordered a similar riding construction toy and when i compared the two the one from your site is chintzy-poorly made. will not order from you again
Got this for my son for Christmas. He loves it so much! He’s obsessed with Paw Patrol and now he has his own “digger” like Rubble! Was not hard to put together at all.
Terrible. The bucket is put together with a spring that does not hold, afraid it will take an eye out. Too flimsy for any child to sit on. Would return but the return cost was ridiculous, needless to say toy went to the trash.
[Rewarded Review] Little Excavator Dude
The excavator was easy to put together. The decals were cute, but I had 2 that did not fit the right side!? It is a little smaller than I expected. It only can be used while the child is sitting on the seat or it will tip over. I got this for a 2 1/2 year old and it was almost too small! He loved it, but was hard to steer straight and turn! He had trouble turning it!
My grandson loves this toy. It seems a bit flimsy but it is still in one piece after 2 years. He’s pretty rough with his toys and nothing broke. It’s not made to scoot fast as he’s tipped it several times. The bucket levers are okay but he usually just holds the bucket as he digs otherwise the bucket will dump under the weight of the sand. For the price it is worth it.
Had this for well over a long time now and my son still plays with it. Ordered for a 2 year old and it was an instant hit. We tied a hand towel around the front of it and pull him around the house. He jst tired 4 and we still pull him around on it. He also puts stuffed animals in it and pulls them. Great toy. Age range is best for an average sized 2-3 year old. He’s 4 now and has to hold his feet up. So it still works but…
Our Favorite Go To Toy!!
My great nephew can't tear himself away from this toy!
Do not buy. There are many parts to assemble. The design is totally done be inserting a plastic part into another plastic part. My problem was one of the plastic parts had 2 prongs designed to fit tightly into a hole but they broke off doing insertion. This product has a lot of cheap parts.
My grandson absolutely loves this. It is built well and he has been digging everything he could find. We will take it to the coast and let him dig in the sand with it this summer. Definitely buy this for your Child or grandchild.
My 3 year old LOVES excavators and thus was his "Santa" gift this year. He has been riding it all around the house and outside. Definitely a hit! Decently made, and the price I paid was better than any other place selling them. I'm happy with this purchase.
The assembly instructions are difficult. The bucket could be smoother but it works with a spring and dumps unevenly. Seems pretty sturdy overall. The wheels are plastic. The whole toy is plastic, would have been nice to have softer wheels for indoor play.
I have purchased a lot of things through Wayfair and have always been very happy until now. This truck ($79.00 plus tax) is the worst toy I have ever purchased and I would suggest you don’t buy it. It is very small, extremely cheap quality and certainly not worth the money. I run a home daycare and so buy a lot of toys on a regular basis. This truck fell apart on the first day that the kids sat on it! My husband had to Silicone the steering wheel on, since it kept coming off!! I already have a lot of trucks and cars for the kids to ride on, but when I saw this series I was excited, since the kids could raise and lower the front shovel. I had also planned on buying two more, different models, if the quality had been good. The shovel is very difficult for the kids to raise and lower. Honestly this is the worst toy I have ever purchased in over 25 years of doing daycare and I really regret it. For $79.00 I could have found a much better truck. For that reason I will not buy any other trucks or cars from Wayfair since I think that they should screen their products for quality.
My two year old son loves his bulldozer. He takes it everywhere, while playing in his sandbox, walks, or indoors. Only issue we had after a few weeks of having it, one of the screws fell out while on a walk, that we had to put a stick to hold the shovel. Otherwise it's worth it. Will be writing to the company to let them know, hopefully they can send us a replacement screw.
