Needed a lighting solution for a dark dining area where we couldn't install ceiling lighting. This works perfectly! It hangs over the center of the dining table at a good height, and it has a dimmer so that it gives just the right amount of light. It also looks good! I'm so happy I found this lamp.

This light fixture is absolutely beautiful. Be sure to read directions putting it together. The light gives off a golden glow. Planning to order a second one for the living room.

Very sturdy and beautiful

Looks beautiful and stylish. Assembly was easy, but the base weighs at least 40 pounds, so you may need help. i suppose that's what makes it so sturdy.

Makes a statement and is functional

No overhead light in this room so this is perfect for reading in front of the fireplace. You need a helper to put it together but with 2 people it's easy. I'm happy with the purchase.

I love my new lamp. It's elegant, very easy to put together, even though it needed two people. The base is very heavy, it would be good to put it together where you intend to place it.

Arrived broken, light does not turn on

Beware: The lamp shade on this is absolutely massive at 18" diameter by 9" height. This was not listed any where on the product page at time of review. In my somewhat smaller room, this unfortunately makes the lamp look like a clown lamp and everything around it looks smaller. REVIEW IGNORING LAMP SHADE: That said-if you have a larger room, this might actually be a positive for you, and I would have given it five stars outside of the (for me) oversized lamp shade which will now cost me $** in return shipping fees. The dimmer is a fantastic feature, the brass is slightly shiny but not overwhelmingly so, and it's nice that the length & shade angle are adjustable (if not super easy to adjust-make sure not to overtighten the connector). It's not a huge amount of light, but nice ambient, diffused light. The lamp shade does not look cheap and is a nice subtle tan color. It looks better than the price overall, I just wish they had been up front about all dimensions.

Would be 5 stars for the product - just lost a star because the first shade arrived totally smashed. It was replaced very quickly and the new one arrived in perfect condition. Lamp is super heavy feels like high quality. Looks great and the dimming feature is the best!

Nice!-

The lamp arrived undamaged in spite of the package looking pretty rough. It was well packaged in low density styrofoam (which crumbled into a million pieces). Easily assembled by myself in a very open room. I did have trouble getting base screw started without cross threading. The finish is very nice and consistent, but gentle handling is a must. I am using to get light over 6 person dining table, and it easily reaches to table center while allowing movement around the entire table, without ducking. The furnished light bulb is 100 lumens, so I'll be shopping for a suitable brighter bulb. The only real improvement I can suggest is making the bracket that holds diffuser adjustable in the horizontal plane, and possibly a better quality shade fabric; I have black and you can see the bulb through the shade easily. Overall, I'm pleased.

Great lamp, it really makes a statement. The base weighs a considerable amount, I can’t see this ever falling over. The dimmer is infinitely adjustable from a subtle amount of light to quite bright. It is a bit unwieldy to move by yourself due to its size and heavy base.

Love this floor lamp. Perfect over sectional couch. I love the weight of this lamp, no worries about falling over.

This floor lamp looks good in our living room including the gold arch/base. It’s a nice modern addition to our living room especially with the dimmer.
