I love this piece. Works great in my small space. Putting it together had it's issues. Some of it was my fault. But when I went to put the top piece on the holes were drilled wrong. The cam screws wouldn't fit ( holes were too big). So the top piece is only secure on one side. I'll have my carpenter do something about that. I also had to move the screws on the drawer track to get them to be even. The reasons for my 4 star rating. Other than that I really love it.

Cute and functional. Lots of space for table cloths, placemats, wine glasses, dessert plates, etc. I like that it’s solid wood. And there’s no offgassing (smell) from the stain which you can sometimes get from wood pieces made overseas. Despite being well packaged, one of the glass doors had broken glass but they’re sending a replacement. Very responsive. Be aware that it comes in three boxes, each with its own tracking number. So when I got just the top and a “it’s delivered!” notification, I worried that the other boxes had gone awry. No problem, though. They came the next day. My main complaint is the cam locks are cheap. They rattle around in the holes, sometimes have trouble grabbing the pin, and the metal is so soft, it’s easily disfigured when you turn the screwdriver. We’ve put together lots of furniture like this so we have a basis for comparison. We finally resorted to gluing some of the wooden pins. Also, although we carefully followed the instructions and diagrams, we ended up putting one piece on backward. But after gluing it together we didn’t dare take it off and turn it around. Anyway, it’s done and is still standing. Phew!

You get what you pay for, cheap is cheap.

You get what you pay for. It's OK. The wood is wood, finish is adequate. Complicated assembly (took more than 3 hours), even for someone who has assembled a lot of cheap furniture. Drawer runners are rough and noisy, drawers bang shut, cabinet doors bang shut, nothing seems tight even though everything is tight. The brackets that attach the hutch to the buffet are totally inadequate - very rinky dink and flimsy. It sounds cheap, is cheap, and that says it all.

Sturdy and beautiful

This is a very beautiful and sturdypiece of furniture and my husband and I put it together with very little trouble. It definitely looks just like the picture and even prettier in person. The instructions are good, Easy to follow. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is looking for a small storage unit for their kitchen. The only downside is that the top of the unit had multiple holes for screws that are not necessary. But because we aren’t tall enough to see it it doesn’t really take away from the beauty of the piece.

This hutch is absolutely beautiful! While it took a few hours to assemble, the instructions were clear and to the point. The cottage oak buffet top is rich and adds such a lovely elegance to the piece. There is also plenty of storage space! Another wonderful feature are the brushed nickel knobs. This most definitely exceeded my expectations and has my kitchen looking both classy and extremely tasteful.

The product arrived very quickly!. No major visible nicks. My husband didn't have too much trouble assembling but he did encounter a problem installing the drawers, the screws that hold the rails were not screwed in all of the way which made the drawers unable to close. He did some fixing and eventually got everything to work. The color is perfect and we are happy with that. The two drawbacks was that we were not able to view the hutch in the store and the drawers are not nearly large or wide enough. I was hoping to fit several place mats and cloth napkins inside the drawers for storage, but it will do. We have had the hutch for about two weeks.

I do not normally do reviews.. However, I spent hours researching items like this and I finally decided on this item. I wanted a quality budget friendly hutch.. Guess what I found it. Great Product-- Real Wood not the pressed Junk wood you find on other higher price items. I Love it,, I have turned it into a Coffee/Tea Bar and the Bottom section stores all my glass bowls and storage containers that you can never find in your cabinets when you have leftovers to store. Don't wait, Buy now you won't be sorry! My 18-year-old son assembled it in about 90 minutes while watching a Movie...

Solid and functional.

The hutch arrived on time. 3 boxes. A little darker then the oak cabinets in my kitchen but that doesn't bother me. I was able to assemble the entire hutch in 2 sittings, total time was a bit less then 3 hours. Instructions were clear, hardware and wood were clearly labeled. I was surprised at how much space is inside the hutch. I didn't expect to be able to fit much in the upper cabinet but it's great that it can hold my laptop while laying it flat. The counter part of the hutch is a tad bit higher then my kitchen counter top (just to give you an idea of the height) The hutch is pretty solid. I can't tell if it's quality particle board or if it's solid wood or if it's a combo. It's definitely more solid then an IKEA piece of wood furniture. Pictures are included to show how things can fit into this hutch. I will be using the hutch to store some craft supies, school papers, laptops. After seeing how things fit into the hutch I am very pleased with the size.

5 years later...still great

This is a fantastic piece! It was a bit of a challenge to assemble but not impossible. Very solid and roomy. The color has not faded and the wood is still in good condition after several years. I have spilled water and coffee on the surface numerous times and clean up does not leave damage on the surface. When I received the piece there was some damage to one of the Windows in the hutch. I emailed the manufacturer and they sent a replacement door in a couple of days. I wish that the material used for the hutch windows was a bit more durable. A wayward fingernail or edge of something leaves a mark.
