Why is this product still on the market?,
We very quickly found this product unusable. DO NOT BUY!
Portable ac unit
Just a little disappointed that it doesn't project more into other rooms. What was really bad was the FedEx delivery person. Instead of using a hand truck, he dragged this unit's box up the driveway & onto the front sidewalk. Looked to me like he was going to leave it on the front sidewalk. I walked out and asked him to bring it over to the garage so I could pull it in. The bottom of the box was all wrecked & when we lifted the box, the panel that goes into the window fell out. We were lucky it hadn't fallen out earlier on delivery. FedEx offered very poor delivery service.
[Rewarded Review] So Pathetically Bad
Broke with fewer than ten uses.
Out of the box failure
This is a large/heavy item, so it was a big hassle to get it home, set it up, only to have something inside making a deafening noise. It was quiet until the compressor kicked in then it started shaking the floor and a very loud noise, possibly the squirrel cage fan is loose. I immediately packed it up and returned it. Wasted at least an hour.
Not happy
Tried to return to store where I purchased. They said it was a clearance item that no one informed of and I couldn't return it
I needed SOMETHING! This was IT!
this AC has range, we have non standard windows so we needed to get a portable stand up to use via our sliding door, this gets cold and we have a very open concept I was worried that it wouldn't be able to cool our main area and it does. it does hold quite a bit of water before having to empty like we let it run all night and it's good! Only thing and it maybe something we r doing wrong is the remote is not to my liking and sometimes the ac fan kicks off while it still vents cool air but then it kicks on again...i'm thinking it does that when the space your cooling reaches temp...otherwise great purchase!
worked once
This is a late review but have been too busy to address until now.
Poor Quality Portable AC. DO NOT BUY.
Approximately 3 weeks ago, as always in the summertime, the AC was running normal at night (temperature set at 70F). In the morning we noticed some water pooling on the floor and the water full light was also on. I thought the tanks must have gotten full and the water spilled over. I drained the water out from both tanks which were full and the AC started working fine (cooling) after that. We turned the AC on very next night and again in the morning we noticed water pooling on the floor and water full light was also on. Both tanks were again full of water and after emptying them, I turned the AC back on and noticed that it was not cooling anymore. I kept the AC running for at least an hour and only the fan was working. I turned it off and re-tried it in the evening (after 8-10 hours) and it was still not cooling. I also noticed that the base of the AC was very hot to touch. I have not tried running it back again since then as it might be a safety issue and I also have a toddler at home.
First Impression
Purchased due to upcoming heat wave and predicted power outages. Test run today with household power at low fan, set at 78*, outside temp pushing 90* and my existing thermostat is holding at 77*. This is a 3 Bedroom 2 Story home where the down stairs remains cooler, the unit is set up in the living room upstairs.

the window-fit kit is practically useless. single-mindedly designed for horizontal install. too short for vertical install, and will need YOU to fabricate a panel use as an A/C. works okay, if you got time.
Worst portable AC I have ever seen
Worst portable AC I have ever seen. After 10 hours of operation, it only reduced the room temperature from 29C to 28C
Poor Support
Purchased, but never delivered. Walmart gave a refund (Not what I wanted), but wouldn't let me purchase it again for the same price - had gone up $150 which is more than the $25-50 offset they can do. Manager offered to sell me the 10k btu at the price I originally purchased the 12k btu for. Horrible experience talking to support.
Faulty unit
I had to return this product. It would leak water out of the bottom and the vents. It shouldn’t create water in the a/c mode and if it did it should go in the drip pan and turn off when full.
Disappointed
I purchased this air conditioner because it was a bit cheaper than my mom's brand. I have had so many issues with it! Within two days, I had to dump the water out of the unit without it being on dehumidifier mode. I had to dump another whole load of water within hours of that. The hose is so low to the floor that you cannot get anything under it to catch the water except towels. My mom has had her unit for over two years and has never had to dump water.
Great Product
Works wonderfully and cools our entire 700sq foot place. I recommend it to anyone. It was so easy to install also.
Doesn´t cool!!
I bought this for a very small area where I work, and this thing cools for 20 seconds and then goes off and just blows air temperature despite having it at 17 degrees. Waste of money, Im returning it.
cool down well
it covers 700 sqft. cools down fast and well. glad i got this powerful one.
