This is a good table, but the top came scratched in two spots (pics attached). Not a big scratch, but still bothers me because it is the top visible surface. Only recommendation I have for assembly is to perform the steps backwards. They want you to install the shelves before the top, but if you do it the way they write the instructions, it is a hassle when you get to the last step. If you do the last step first, much simpler. Good quality, but because of the scratched surface and backwards instruction, I give it 3 stars.

Not that I like MDF, but for this price point, it works just fine. You can't break the bank on every piece in every room, and this compliments my very expensive Hydeline sectional (brand is available on Overstock). Having just filled up 4k square feet of complete "empty" in 60 days, I was very happy to pop this out of the box and have it in place within 1/2 hour.

I gave two stars because while it is a beautiful piece, it is hard to get the screws all the way screwed down because the holes aren’t big enough. Probably world need an electric screwdriver to get the job done.

Top shelf too small

There is literally no way for the top piece to connect to the frame (as a previous reviewer mentioned). The holes don't match at all, but even drilling new ones wouldn't have mattered because it still would have had metal sticking out of the sides.

The holes did not align with the top(A) at all, even when I drill new holes the placement was still off. The bottom and second shelf was find. Table looks lopsided. Very disappointed. don't have time to send back, because I needed it right away.

Chintzy. Bad color. Laminate over particle board. The "faux" slate is a joke. It looks like cheap-o fake wood. This is going back and I am so disappointed, honestly.

Found this same item on amazon for $48 after I ordered it from Overstock. Screws to hold it together does not help in making it stable. Looks nice but not usable- that's about it. Delivery was as promised.
