Good product for the money

No huge or strong smell went on easy and cleans up with soap and water. I used 2 coats on one of my cutting boards. I think I will need another on before I use it. In the middle of cleaning up a small drop of water ended up on the board and while it did not "soak into the wood", it did leave a small bump where the wood soaked in a tiny bit. I'm thinking another coat should do it. The instructions did say it might depending on the wood and thickness it could take more than 2. Overall I think it worked out very well and will use it again when my cutting board needs a refresh...

Good stuff

So after much time and research deliberating what board conditioner I want to use, I went with this product. It’s thin enough to work the oils and waxes deep into the wood, but thick enough to stay put. I’m using this on a Paulownia wood cutting board. To enhance absorption, I placed it in a toaster oven at 210° for 10 minutes. Wipe off the excess excess, wash, and it’s good to go.

This stuff is great. Using on our butcher block countertop. Not gummy or sticky. Wipes up well. Deepens the color of the wood.

Easy to apply, not sticky like mineral oil. Keep applying until the can not absorb any more. The watch how water just beads on top.

Had a bamboo cutting board that was heat damaged and dried out. A quick application of this product and the bamboo looks like new! Not greasy. Fabulous stuff — like all the Howard products I’ve tried.
