NOT porcelain! AWFUL quality!!

My contractor just finished setting the tile. Sadly I was not home so I did not know that 1/3 of the sheets had chipping. I mentioned that I was so surprised as the PEI rating is 4 (scale of 1-5) and it is porcelain. But NO...the contractor showed me the box that says it is CERAMIC tile. I am DISGUSTED with the deceit of the manufacturer, as I specifically emailed them to verify the PEI rating and that it is porcelain. It is hugely overpriced for a ceramic tile with poor durability.

This tile is absolutely gorgeous! No defects, chips, or missing pennies in the entire shipment. I can't wait to have this installed. The color is unique, soothing, and perfect for a change from the standard grays everyone seems to be using. It gives a vintage vibe while being modern at the same time.

I am disappointed with this purchase. Unfortunately the package took quite a while to finally arrive. When it did come, one box was missing and came days later and was delivered to the wrong home. One box had multiple chipped penny tiles that need to be swapped out. Unfortunately these tiles are needed for a construction project and we can't delay the project any longer. Wayfair wants the entire box sent back to them which would then require us waiting even longer for the new box to arrive. So we will have to deal with the damaged tiles on our own if we want to keep the project on time. Also, the first boxes that were delivered had a decent mix of shades with the mint green tile but the last box came with a very muted creamy look. Not matching very well to the other boxes. I really regret making this purchase from wayfair and wish I had just went to my local big box store. They would have price matched this product and customer service would have went much smoother.

perfect blend / match for some old blue/ gray subway tile main backsplash that was put in in 2017. we didn’t want to rip that out while remodeling and needed a blend to increase the backsplash in a different shape, pattern. my decorator said Yes to this with varied shades of white, barely gray and a muted brushed silver. a little sparkle but not flashy. it’s very unique behind the vent hood and to finish out a larger space.

Merola Tile - Merola Tile Hudson Penny Round Midnight 12 in. x 12-5/8 in. Porcelain Mosaic (10.74 sq. ft./Case), Midnight / High Sheen. Very nice tile. Vibrant color. I used this on the back wall of a niche to give it some personality. Make sure you carefully line up or you will see each individual tile. Other than that, great Tile. May have to cut with a Tile saw, so recommend that you have one ready.
