Great Rug with just one complaint

I absolutely love the thickness and softness of this rug, my only complaint is the design doesn't stand out as much as I thought it would. You can't even tell there is a design, it just looks like a multi-colored shag rug.

stanky but cozy

The rug is soft & comfortable. ordered an extra big one. however, i had to air it out for a long time to get the smell out. color was as pictured, maybe a little lighter.

A Super Nice Rug, Big or Small

This shag rug is exceptionally soft. It is plush and very thick. I bought 2 of the smaller ones in blue to use as accent rugs. They look GREAT with my living room carpet. They'd be GREAT no matter what size you need is. I still have the ivory/beige in my bed room that I've owned for over 15 years. It still looks new.

I ordered this rug as a replacement for the exact same rug that I have had for three years, the manufacturer has greatly reduced the quality of this rug. This is the fourth rug I’ve purchased and I’m terribly disappointed in the changes in quality. The older rug has a thicker and fuller fiber, the new rug is thin and for days the base material made crinkling sounds as you walk.

Soft rug!

I LOVE this rug!!!! I bought the runner to place in front of the washing machine and dryer in our laundry room and it transformed the room! Our laundry room is now one of my favorite rooms in the whole house because of this soft, wonderful rug! I love the thickness of the rug - it feels great on bare feet! The neutral cream and beige colors are perfect too.

Like walking on a marshmallow!

I was a little hesitant to buy a rug online so I bought three different colors in a smaller size - slate blue/ivory (left), beige/ivory (top right), gray/ivory (bottom right). As you can see, the 'ivory' is three different shades so keep that in mind when choosing your colors. They are definitely plush, thick, comfy, very nice to walk on!! It's like walking on a marshmallow. Haha! I will be keeping all three and putting in different rooms for that reason. First time I've bought rugs online and very satisfied with this purchase! They are soft enough for my dog to immediately take a nap on! Haha One of the pictures has a filter to show the contrast between the colors.

Love this rug & so does my pup! It's soft, thick, and stays put. It rolled out flat & did not have any chemical smells. It's too thick for our Roomba but it's no biggie. I simply vacuum it once per week with no pulls or snags. These pics are from 3 months after purchase. Still looks new with no visible wear. Our guests love the feel of it too.

You need this, trust me.

I ordered the Shag Pala Rug in ivory/beige and this rug is absolutely beautiful. Colors are exactly as they appear in the picture and the rug itself is so soft and plush! I'm not exaggerating when I say that this rug is probably at least an inch and a half thick with the shag, but the shag also still maintains the pattern well without looking messy. It's a lovely addition to my living room! Very satisfied.

I purchased these rugs after we tore up our carpet and replaced our flooring. I had to get the same design throughout the house and I absolutely love it. The rug fit perfectly in the areas needed and is so plush. My sons love to roll around on it. Only drawback is my dog blends into the rug so we have to be extremely careful of where she's at. Everyone gives us compliments on these beautiful rugs. All shipped fast too.

Perfect for bathroom or bedroom

Another great buy from Overstock. Thick fiber carpeting that holds up to heavy foot traffic and wet feet. Using this in a bathroom and after showering it's nice to step onto a soft carpet. It gets constant use but always seems to stay clean. When it does need to be cleaned I just use a mild carpet cleaner and dry it out for a few hours. Once dry a quick vacuum is all that's needed and you're ready to go.

This is the second rug I have ordered, same brand, Safavieh. I can't say enough good things about their rugs. It shipped quickly and was packaged well. In my opinion the quality is excellent for the price. The edges are even and lay flat. The color is more of a taupe/khaki color on cream. The pile is thick and very very soft. This rug is neutral and would go with many different styles, boho, traditional, etc. You won't be disappointed, again for the price point.

Cozy, thick, shaggy carpet that is comfortable.

Very nice rug. Very thick and kids love how soft and cozy it is. If your using it with small kids, the drawback is that small toys like legos can get lost in the shag. Overall still a very comfortable rug that looks good, is neutral, and goes with most decor. It does have a chemical smell to it. Hope that goes away soon. It started to give me a headache so had to open the windows.

We loved this rug. It's soft and plush. It came earlier than expected so that was very nice. It came packaged well and rolled out nice and flat. It looked even better once vacuumed. It made a huge difference to our living room. Color is true to description. Hoping it will hold up traffic and wear well but not expecting anything less. Nice quality.

Plush, but not like the other Hudson I had

I love Safavieh rugs and already have owned the Hudson Corbin. I was hoping since this is also from the Hudson line that it would be as thick as the other one. Unfortunately, this one is a little more sparse than that one. It doesn't seem as thick, and I can easily pull apart the fibers and see the bottom of the rug. With that being said, it IS still a shag rug and very soft. So I'm mostly satisfied, but do wish the fibers were thicker and pulled together more tightly like my other one. It's not enough for me to take the effort to ship it back, and it is a very beautiful rug.

I truthfully haven't gotten a good glance at the actual rug other than evaluating the way it was shipped. But because some of the reviews commented on it I felt the need to share what it arrived like. See pictures. It was not in a box but wrapped pretty nicely in thick plastic wrap. The ends of the rug were capped off by these shower net elastic things! In my eyes it was thoughtfully wrapped and I had no problem with weather (rain, wind, etc in the days leading up to its arrival) effecting the ends of the rug. It feels nice for how decently priced it was and I'm so excited to finally open it when we move!
