Does a great job cooling a room where an exercise class for over 20 women is held. We like the 3-speed feature. Many positive comments received from the ladies about how the fan keeps them comfortable during their workout!

No pictures with instructions was the biggest issue. The blades hit the protective covering with the slightest of bumps when the fan is running. The output of air is ample but you must unscrew the bracket from the cam and then screw it into the center of the cam to stop oscillation. This is very poorly described in instructions. The adjustable height is non-existent because the fan and motor just slide back down.

It took a while to get the fan put together, mostly because it was only 98 degrees when we were putting it together. The fan really does move the air around. I can feel it from about 30 feet away when it's on the low fan setting. The high setting moves the air better, but it's too loud on high. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it is really loud. Even at the other end of the barn, I have to raise my voice to be heard in normal conversation. I like the fan and it does help with the hear in the barn. It was well worth the money I paid for it.

Wish it wasn’t as powerful I use it to keep heat out of my garage and it does it perfect only thing is it can start blowing stuff away lol or I can’t smoke because the air hitting the whole blunt!!! I AINT EVEN SMOKING !!!

They may advertise 8400 CFM, but there is no way this fan of mine, that I just bought from Home Depot is putting out 8400 CFM.

Outdoor Rated????

Directions from iLiving says do NOT use this fan outdoors. HD website says it is outdoor rated. The HD Rep said it is safe to use outdoors. The iLiving Rep said it can be used outside but must be unplugged before any rain as there is an electrocution danger. Yikes. Shocking the grandchildren is considered a bit tacky in my neighborhood. You might want to update the website before someone gets hurt. Too bad as the fan sure did chase away the bugs. Quality was good but the website misrepresented that it is safe for outside use.

Needed this for the humid south

I love to lounge around in the backyard on my deck and patio, however it is so hot here in the south you have to have something to cool you off while lounging. I ordered this fan because I knew it would do the job. I haven't used it yet and will be using it this summer 2023. I know it will do the job. It is definitely big enough and will cover a lot of area.
