This fan is a joke. so small as to be utterly useless

I have two more of these little fans and they have been used for over two years. I use them at night for a soft noise control and they work great! I'm buying this for a back up!`

Doesn’t live up to its name

Easy out of the box plug and play. Vornado has been around over 100 years, this little air mover just isn’t it though. 3 speed settings 1 of which doesn’t work. My rechargeable fan blows harder than this little thing. I bought this with hopes of circulating air in a 100 sq ft room with a portable air conditioner & no windows. This little thing doesn’t pack enough punch to blow dust off of a counter let alone do any kind of circulation. I’m actually quite disappointed in it and actually upset.

Very little airflow

I own other Vornado products and this fan was disappointing. I bought 4 of these for the office to increase airflow. I tested it and very little air was coming out of it even when set on #3. Plus it was warm air that was coming out. I did a side by side comparison with my Ryobi battery fan and more air was coming out of the Ryobi and it was cooler. Ended up returning all 4 to HD. I should’ve read the comments before buying.

Useless waste of money.

I was looking for a fan I purchased from QVC several years ago and it appears they no longer carry it so because I needed a small fan too I settled on this one. It is useless. It makes a lot of noise but does nothing to cool off the area, even right in front of it. It was a complete waste of money.

It's blowing me right now. I've only had it for a few days, but it's nicely small, the configuration of the stand makes it extremely flexible to position, is a reasonable volume, and helps to circulate air in my relatively stagnant room of the house. Really happy with this purchase.

The design has quality materials and a premium feel. While the fan's maximum speed doesn't notably outperform budget alternatives, it does offer three adjustable levels, a feature often absent in cheaper models. The higher price is justified by superior construction, potential longevity, variable speeds, stylish design, and enhanced angle adjustability. Moreover, the fan can be used without its stand for added convenience. In conclusion, If you value any of the above, then its probably worth the money, if you're simply after a fan; then you'll feel you've overpaid.

Really nice little fan. I use it mostly on my vanity when I apply my makeup. It doesn’t take up that much space and packs a punch! Tiny but mighty! Sends the perfect amount of air and isn’t that loud. It’s also super cute!

Don't Bother

Purchased this fan for a travel fan. Great size for a suit case. That is where it ends!

Good little fan, slightly different to ad photo

The picture in the ad isn’t quite right, we ordered black but it also comes with the black cover cage thing in front of the fan. I actually prefer what arrived than the picture but I did think it would have been white.

Worth the money

I highly recommend these fans I have purchase several of them through the years. , the larger size and small size. I have one fan that is around 12 years old and still works great. Great house gift for your children or friend my daughter loves her fans helps cut down the cost of your utility bills.

Small & Stylish

At Target, I purchased a Vornado PIVOT 3U Whole Room Air Circulator, and after placing it in the master bedroom, I went to the Vornado website to see if there was a small unit for my master bathroom. Trash design. Impeller blades are not of typical Vornado design (much of the air is lost between the spindle and the blade - making more noise with less air movement) I took it apart and used gorilla tape to reshape the blades like their larger designs. It moved air much better and quieter at lower speeds, with the trade-off of being balanced, now my mod has messed up the bushings in the motor, so it's a noise machine that moves as much air as it should have new. Rebranded foreign junk.

I purchased 3 desktop Vornado fans to station around the house wherever I and my cats (in their full-body fur coats) have been sweltering this summer. The fans use less electricity than AC (so we can leave the thermostat setting at "bake") and easily are turned on and off as we move through the house for different tasks. The fans have been effective in keeping us more comfortable, are easy to position, have a small footprint, and are sturdy.

Love this little fan! Why good things do come in small packages. Simple, makes using this portablepersonal fan an easy winner easy use in a quick manner. Plenty of power with off 3 speed selections by a simple twist of the back nob. Has 3 little gripper bands (feet) that keep it from sliding around. And a charming resemblance to the front end of a B-52 bomber! what more could you ask for in a personal ‘wind moving’ machine.

This is a small tasteful looking fan with I believe 3.5” fan blades. It’s high setting has 2950 rpm, but it’s force is commensurate with its size when comparing Vornado’s larger fan blades models with a slightly lower rpm on high. It’s somewhat triangulated base is sturdy. For my intended purpose, this fan is perfect. I have personally only purchased Vornado fans for decades. They are reliable, and warranted with great customer service

[Rewarded Review] Great Simple Fan with Cool Look

Right out of the box my son LOVED this fan. He calls it a jet engine. It looks a lot like an airplane engine and he absolutely loves it. It really puts out a ton of air as well, so the design is really effective. It's a great compact fan, perfect for small spaces. I work from home a couple of days a week, and even though it has been getting hotter in these summer months, I hate using the AC when I'm home. It seems like a waste to heat up the whole house and I usually just have a fan pointed at me and that cools me enough. This fan is great because the power of the amount of air it puts out will even cool us down in our living room - which is the biggest room in the house.

Small, powerful, and gives you a great breeze. It is ready to use as soon as you take it out the box, nothing to assemble. The knob on the side allows you to tighten the fan into the position you want the fan blowing in allowing you to pick from multiple angles up or down to point the breeze. The footing is easy to set on a table without it losing its balance. The fan is slightly louder than a small standard fan, but not loud enough to bother when you sleep, are listening to something. The Vornado is the best personal air fan I have ever had, more functional and colder than a personal cooler or small desk fan. I get better sleep and sweat less since adding this to my bedroom, I feel like this small little air fan has been missing my whole life, and I never want to be without it again.

The Pivot 5 is a fan. The air is moved around perfectly. The fan has 3 fan settings. The design is great. The cord is long enough to move the fan to different areas in our room. This fan can be used just about anywhere, office, bedroom, kitchen area, etc. The fan does have some fan noise, but we have been using it in the bedroom at night, and it is actually perfect for sleeping. The Pivot fan is lightweight and the direction can be adjusted using a knob on the side. We have been using the fan daily.

I like the design of this pivot fan and the fact it looks like a jet engine. Just the look alone makes it appear powerful. We have a small house and this is perfect to circulate the air. The three settings make it easy for however much airflow you want. The knob on the side adjusts to get the right angle. This keeps the living room cool enough we can keep the air conditioning turned up. It's compact and easy to move to any room. Great fan especially for small spaces.
