Quit working

I purchased this as a Xmas, worked great for 4 months. I unplugged it when I went on vacation and upon my return I was going to plug it in but it smelled musky, when I looked inside it had mildew after cleaning it, it never worked again. When calling QVC I was informed it was too late to return for a replacement, and told since I didn’t purchase the insurance the manufacturer would replace it.

Works well

We had been looking at ice makers for a while now, there was another model but it was $200 more. The only difference being one made pebble ice. I must admit my wife was really the one this was for, she's always had a passion for small soft ice. So far so good, seems to work really well. Can't go wrong for the price! Will update in the weeks to come.

How did I ever live without this?!

I do not have an ice maker in my refrigerator. This is a dream come true for daily use. I will never go without an ice maker ever again. I use my vitamix and cold coffee brewer on a regular basis now. Wonderful.

1 month in great so far

We love this icemaker. So simple to use. I do recommend a larger icemaker if you need for more than 2-3 people, unless you don't mind making multiple batches. Ice makes fast, we usually do a batch every morning during daily housekeeping routine.

Outstanding product

I bought this Iceman countertop ice maker back in November 2023. So far so good. It has worked as its supposed too. I live on a lake and entertain every weekend most of the summer. I need to have a ice maker. I also have a 2nd job that requires a freezer and ice to carry that product in a cooler at times for hours. I love this thing and recommend this ice maker. It was the highest rating when I did my research and it has not disappointed.

Superb for Parties

I bought this Ice Maker for the shear purpose of the obvious. We have a pool, friends over, cocktails, or just a summer on the porch always requires extra ice. It came beautifully boxed and easy to set up. Ice making is a breeze and there is instructions for self cleaning as well. You won't be disappointed in this. Easily fits under the counter in your kitchen. Easy to clean on the outside as well.

Moldy ice and impossible to clean 0/5

Was super excited because we go through so much ice! The first week was great! However after that it is extremely hard to clean. After a month it has mold in places that are impossible to clean (we kept the lid closed, used filtered water and used the clean setting on it often). Also it has a shut off feature for when it gets low on water, after about two weeks that stopped working and now it just shoots out tiny slivers of ice when it is low. It seems like a nice bargain counter top ice maker but I really wish I would have spent a little more money and got something different.

Best ice maker

Love my ice maker. Have a 5th wheel and frig has no ice maker. Need to put cube trays in freezer which takes a much longer time to harden and then have to empty in baggies and refue the hole process. Woukd only freeze ice twice a day. But my Chiefman is constantly putting out ice all day, fresh ice and no freezer taste. Had other ice makers but wasn't as quick puttingbout ice and slower moter. Excellent buy.

Just in time

Pretty heavy, informative booklet. Only one down fall for me is when water gets below an area you either put more water in, (I use bottled water) or empty it and unplug. There is approx 2 cups of water left, that's the draw back for me. Oops, forgot additional one, the drain plug is very hard to pull out but understanding that it must seal properly as to not leak.

Sad to say I will be returning this. Why is no one mentioning the odd shaped ice cubes this thing makes? It does make a decent amount of ice in an hour. I would say the equivalent of about 2-3 trays of regular ice trays. However, the cube is oddly shaped with a hole in the middle, and a strange cylinder like shape, almost like a cone. Plus, they are not full ice cubes. With the hole in the middle they melt quickly in your drinks.

favorite ice machine

after finally receiving the ice machine, i am extremely pleased with it's performance. both ice sizes are perfect. some of my friends have another brand that only makes one size ice. i purchased this one at a 30 $ discount. i got a really great bagain for my money in my book. the texture of the ice is perfect for my ice munching also. the days of fedex delaying my delivery was for sure worth the wait. i now can have my ice and eat it too. i recommend this item to anyone looking for a good ice machine.

I received Chefman dual size ice machine free in exchange for my honest review. This ice machine is portable and small enough to be on your countertop. We tested it by taking it to football party at a friend’s house. It made the ice pretty quickly in 7-8 minutes and it was a great feature to have when entertaining. The portability and size are the major features why you should purchase this ice machine. We have only used it once at the football party but will be using very regularly in the summer time. Great product that I would purchase and recommend!

This was a smart pickup for me. My refrigerator does not have an ice maker. I still have to fill up ice trays with water and put it in the freeze. So I am limited on ice. Now one day before a gathering, I make ice and put it into a zip lock bag and leave it in the freezer. The day of I just leave it make ice on and it makes more then I need. Works perfect

We received this iceman icemaker and used it for our last family get together. I was really happy to have this as I have a very large family and the extra ice came in handy. It makes a new batch of ice in just a few minutes. I made a few bags of ice before the party. It is small lightweight and easy to use. It has a five foot cord, a nice ice scoop, and I like how portable it is. Can be used on a patio or at camp. It makes the ice faster than my refrigerator can. This is a really nice little gadget to have. The Reservoir holds enough water to make a full 1.3lbs of ice . I love the bullet shaped ice it makes. It makes nine ice cubes every seven minutes and 26 lbs of ice in 24 hours. There is an option to make both large and small bullet ice and a window to see the progress. This machine is a workhorse as it makes the ice rapidly. Geat product... I really love it.

Absolutely love this ice maker. It makes a batch of ice cubes in just 6 mins. It was awesome and a great hit at the party we just had. It has a nice long power cord. Makes large or small Ice cubes. There is an indicator light letting you know when its ready which helps a lot and better then that is the window on the top to view what's in the machine. A great thing to have.

This machine is an ice making workhorse. Simply keep water in it and empty the basket when it's full and let er rip. It's not fast..not a racehorse but it sure is a workhorse! The ice is shaped like hollow point bullets with a choice of small or large. If you like to munch ice they are great for that. A caveat of these is that they will retain some of whatever fluid you are drinking. Personally I prefer the smaller size.

This ice maker machine is amazing. It is easy to use, has large ice capacity and makes ice in minutes. It has a handle so it is easy to move around. It is very quiet, the only sounds you will hear is when the ice drops into the bucket. It requires the use of bottle water, which is perfect because the ice has a clean taste. You have an option for large or small ice cubes. Once the bucket is full, you can transfer the ice to a cooler or freezer bag for storage using the scoop provided. I absolutely love it and will definitely recommend it.

This is one of my fave small kitchen appliances that anyone could benefit from. I was so happy to try out the new Iceman ice machine from Chefman, since I previously used a very similar one daily when I owned my juice and smoothie shop. We went through tons of ice and had it running constantly to fill up freezer bags to store. I always wanted to bring it home since the ice is so much nicer than standard fridge ice cubes. This one is an upgraded version in black and stainless steel and looks much nicer in my kitchen. I love how it has an easy carry handle to go wherever you need it. The best part is how efficiently I can make batches of round restaurant quality ice, either large or small, and it only takes 6 minutes to do so. This would be the perfect addition to your bar as well, especially when entertaining. My husband is a big ice eater and is enjoying this machine immensely, so I can’t wait to use it at our next get together for all the drinks.
