This is typical for Symmons - simple, solid quality. I installed in a vessel sink and my only reservation is that this particular model's neck is just a bit short for that. The control has a nice, solid feel. Easy installation.

I've included a photo of this in my bathroom, which we finally got around to installing after having the product sitting around for a few months. Tearing out an old gold finish (ugly) faucet that came with the house and replacing it with this superior Symmons took about an hour and 45 minutes. I had never heard of this brand before, but I am incredibly impressed with the look of this for the price. It looks modern without being tacky and the chrome finish is peerless. You simply can't miss at this price point, which is probably why the product has gone temporarily out of stock at the time of this review. Recommended.

I’m a big fan of the ease of use of a single handle faucet but have always thought that faucets with 2 handles had a more elegant look. This Symmons Identity faucet has an easy to use single handle but also has such a modern, attractive look that it definitely doesn’t suffer in the looks department. The all-in-one unit simplifies and cleans the lines of the faucet. I have totally changed my mind about 2-handled faucets. A single handle not only looks sharper but is easier to clean. We have very hard water. Hard water deposits are a constant battle around the bottom of the faucets and handles. With a single unit, there aren’t handles that come out of the sink or countertop.

I'd never heard of Symmons until I installed this faucet. Color me impressed. Installation is straightforward - if you've ever installed a single hole faucet, you can do it almost by feel. If this is your first faucet install, it's easy - the only special tool you need is a faucet wrench/basin wrench. I used to maintain a couple of apartment buildings - so have plenty of experience maintaining and replacing faucets! General observations: The gasket that seals the base of the faucet to the sink/counter is a heavy, counter-sunk gasket - not a thin pancake seal that many use. There's very little that's plastic - just the drain pipe - and that's about 3 times thicker than most faucets have. The pop-up stopper is chrome plated steel, as is the drain seat. The faucet itself is chromed with a flawless finish and has a very smooth operating handle. No "chrome" plated plastic anywhere. There's even an adjustment collar beneath the handle that allows you to set a maximum rotation for the hot water, thus setting a max temperature. Great for kids bathrooms. No comparison to economy faucets! It's modern and sleek, and would be at home in almost any bathroom.

Well, you may need a new vanity. And a new shower enclosure. And new tiles and a new toilet. OK, that's beside the point. This faucet will be a great team player in the Great Bathroom Makeover. The only thing to consider is whether you want chrome or satin finish. Chrome like this tends to need lots of cleaning/drying to avoid water spots and such.

I am extremely pleased with this Symmons chrome faucet. I find it to be of very high quality, and it was easy to install. It functions perfectly with good flow and no leaks or issues. It came with good instructions and all of the pieces needed for installation. The design is quite modern and updated, giving any old bathroom and updated look. I also like that you can purchase matching chrome accessories from the same manufacturer. Overall, I find this to be a superb product.

This is a contemporary faucet with smooth action and lots of left to right temperature control flexibility. I've been disappointed in the past with single hole faucets that don't let you get that perfect temperature: this one has plenty of horizontal movement to allow for adjusting degrees of "warm". I mounted on a Victorian style sink to balance old and new, (bathroom still in progress, but looks great).
