Just the important stuff for future buyers

Overall, happy with this purchase. I wish there were more installation options, as neither direction seems "right" in terms of how the door opens and how accessible (or not) the shower controls are. My only other issue is that the handle is cheap compared to the hinges. I ordered the oil rubbed bronze finish and the hinges are nice but the door handle--the thing that you see most--is cheap black plastic. Hoping I can change it out at some point but it should be the same material as the hinges in the first place.

Beautiful Shower Door

We just remodeled our bedroom shower and had a hard time deciding the shower door, until we stumble on this particular model. After reading the reviews, we decided to make the purchase. We all so thankful for the reviews, it really helped with our decision. This frameless shower door is of highest quality. My wife loves the durability of the glass. In addition to the durability, the frameless design added elegance to our fully marbled wall. We are very happy with this frameless shower door.

Custom Glass Without the High Pricetag

Reduces water spots! Customer support let me know how to email the request for a specific door opening size and different ladder handle option after ordering. Easy to install but it is heavy glass. Was quoted $2500 for the same door so we saved thousands and got the same look. I do feel like I could have gone wider on the glass. I didn't want to use the plastic strip in the middle but will need to on the door hinge side. Used scs1000 clear silicone. 82" tall would be even better but still happy.

Looks like custom glass shower door

I had 3 custom shower door companies quote my pivot door with stationary glass panel, ranging $1700-$2300. In an attempt to save money we bought this door for $770. Installing was nerve wrecking but it came out close to perfect. Aligning the pivot door with the stationary glass was the hardest part. The company offers great customer service too as they helped me order a square handle. So happy we saved over a $1000 & looks custom!

We did a total remodel of our shower, and I wanted a door with a clean and modern look. This one is WONDERFUL. Since installation was beyond our capability, I did have a contractor install it. He said that it was easy to install but advised 2 people to complete the task. The door arrived in 4 packages, and all the parts were present. We have hard water, so I especially love that the glass has a special coating to minimize spoting. I like that the door has the ability to be installed to swing inward or outward. Another important factor was that a big box DIY store offered the SAME product for 100 more. Well done, Wayfair!

My shower door was installed about two weeks ago and from start to finish, it has been a perfect experience. Glass Warehouse immediately worked with me to get the size door I needed. It was shipped promptly and arrived in excellent condition secured to a pallet. My contractor was impressed by the thickness and quality of the glass as well as the ease of installation. I can’t say anything bad about the door, company, or the experience. In fact, I’m getting ready to remodel another bathroom and order another of these doors from Glass Warehouse.

2 deliveries broken glass

I dont belive the postive reviews and neither should you. The first delivery was shipped Fedex in 4 seperate packages. One of the glass pieces was damaged during frieght and the tube with sweeps was not in the tube and probably still on the fedex truck. Tiny piece of packing tape is all that held the cap on for the sweep and the packaging for the glass that did arrive was just cardboard (somehow no damage). Now the second door today was damaged in transit. Cutting costs for not wanting to package everything in one nice bundle, and not using frieght has cost us another week or so without a shower. While i understand that cutting costs on frieght makes business sense, the packaging should be secure if using a carrier like Fedex. Will spend a few more dollars for a company that ships the item in secure package frieght next time.

shattered during installation

We bought two of these doors and my husband was installing them with the help of a handyman. Both shattered on installation. They think the first touched a screw within the fixture. the second time my husband isn't sure what caused the glass to fracture. Both times, the glass "exploded" where it broke into tiny pieces, scratching his arms and legs. He feels lucky that it didn't get in his eyes. The glass also damaged our bathroom and embedded in the ceiling. This is not a DIY project.

Very nice door and a great value

I am very impressed with the door. It does take 2 people to install it. Our contractor bought longer screws for the hinges so they would go completely through to the stud, as he did not trust the included anchors. The company quickly answered my emails and phone calls when I had questions, and they were very friendly. You have to email them as soon as you place your order with the required information so they can send the door and panel sizes you want, and they will do their best to get as close as you request based on panel availability. The panels were packed well and arrived with no damage. We are very impressed with Glass Warehouse and highly recommend them. The specs are very tight, so you have to measure carefully and the walls need to be straight.

Amazing Company and Product

I did not think excellent companies like this still existed. We purchased their shower door product (fixed panel plus door) from Home Depot. The delivery across country was as scheduled. The quality of the product is outstanding. The installation instructions provided and the online video are extremely clear. At the point in the instructions for door opening measurement I was only 1/8" too narrow per their instructions. It says to stop and contact them. I did and the next day they arranged a new 1/4" narrower door to be sent and had FedEx pick up the original door. The new door arrived and fit perfectly. Their product and customer service is amazing. If you are looking for a frame less shower door, do not look any further. You won't be disappointed. Thank you Glass Warehouse!

Very happy with purchase! Shower door was perfect and I saved a bundle installing myself. You'll need to be very handy and it's a 2 person job but worth doing. Measure very carefully before ordering. If you're between 1/2" sizing increments, go with the smaller dimension. You can adjust larger but you can't make the glass smaller if it's too tight! Also, hinges for the swinging door need to be screwed into a stud. The swinging door is very heavy, I don't think anchors are secure enough. You can use anchors for the fixed panel side if necessary.

Our contractors just installed this door today and I absolutely love it! It arrived in great shape (4 boxes). It was helpful to have two people for installation, just because the two pieces are quite heavy and large. They said it was quite easy to install and that if I’d purchased locally from a glass shop, it probably would have cost 3 times more. A couple things that were questions I had before it arrived—the door only swings outward and is about 25 inches wide. The fixed panel is about 20 inches wide. Perfect for our needs but those details were ones that I struggled to find in the item description. I can’t wait to use it!

Great Product, fast shipping.

Product was extremely well protected. Instructions were easy to follow. Although I have done numerous nome improvement projects, this was my first installation of this type. Although I was a little nervous, dealing with very tight tolerances, I could not be more happy with my purchase and the installation. Be sure to finish your tile installation before ordering. When I started looking at the installation, I started looking at 59 inch doors. My final product was 58 inches.

So blown away by the quality of this frameless wall hinge shower door. Absolutely thrilled with how they look once they arrived. I was concerned they may have a green tint to the glass but they don't. I'm so impressed. I will be using them again for the next bathroom remodel. They look just as high end as my $4500 custom glass shower doors I had done in another bathroom.

Received a piece of glass

received a single piece of glass. NO shower door, no hinges, literally have a single piece of very solid glass. I reached out to manufacturer and have heard Nothing. I will reach to lowes next, but did not pay this much money to get a piece of glass. no shower yet.

Second time buyer of a great product.

This is my second Glass Warehouse frameless shower door and they are high quality and shipping quickly! I made the mistake of ordering the same hardware finish as my last door and I should have ordered a different finish, I contacted GW to see if there was anything I could do and they were incredibly helpful and let me exchange the hardware for the finish I should have ordered in the first place. I had to pay shipping but that was fair since it was my fault. I would ditch your local glass guy and go with this to save money and have the same or better quality. It is my understanding the width comes in 1/4" increments.

Great shower door system...

I NEVER have time to leave a review BUT I have to say this install went awesome and it really was because the system of parts were flawless... The hinges, glass, etc. are great quality and the process went smoothly.. I am always tackling things and am not afraid to tackle a new project. This was my first frameless shower glass install and I am so glad I did. I saved 2k from what I was quoted by a local shop and after about 4 hours of careful/no rushing work, it came out beautiful. kudos to the design team who put this kit together. Great kit, just sloooooww-down and follow the directions. (video was helpful as well)

Great quality and price, don't hesitate

I was sick of paying the local glass shops prices so decided to give Glass Warehouse a try after reading reviews here and on other retailers sites. One concern was the weight of the glass while it isn't light or flimsy glass it does come in 4 separate packages which made getting the glass panels to my upstairs bathroom pretty easy (I did it by myself). The install was done by my contractor who complimented the quality and look. I expect I'll be ordering another door in a different size for my next bathroom project.
