Hopefully it will be better than last one.

the fan and light unit appear well made and it is definitely quiet. the A-15 bulbs are pretty muted by the glass cover so i would consider how much light you wish to cast in the room. it is a pretty handsome appliance.

Nearly impossible

It is nearly impossible and dangerous to remove the glass cover. Took over an hour!!! Totally agree with previous review from RS.

World’s most useless light

I had this installed in an older home that didn’t have an exhaust fan. The fan is relatively quiet and effective. There is barely enough room for A15 light bulbs which are quite small. The lens over the two miniature bulbs is nearly opaque. The result is an absolutely useless light in an area that requires a lot. Shaving in the dark doesn’t work well. Truly terrible. Now i have a large hole in my ceiling to fit this piece of garbage and will be forced to find one the exact same size or repair the drywall. I feel like Hunter owes me money for taking this rather than me having to pay for it. Less than one star

I ended up keeping this fan light and will probably replace it in a few years. It's ok, but I'm not a fan of the light it gives off. You see the hunter name in the middle of it also, not a fan of that

Only accepts smaller diameter bulbs otherwise glass the cover doesn’t fit, the frosted glass glows green when lit and you have to view the Hunter name emblazened in the middle of the glass.

This fan was to replace the similar fan we had installed before . It works as it should. The only thing that was unexpected is that the Hunter logo is much more prominent than it appears in the display photo.

Our nickel is rusting, which looks like it's a common problem. Our glass shade shattered and I have been attempting to reach someone to try to order a replacement. There is no one to actually speak with except for rude customer service people. Email back has been extremely slow and still no answers to my questions: Is the shade available and if so, at what cost? 2 simple questions. Totally frustrating.

SERIOUSLY NOT to Hunter’s normal quality of material and design!!! I have bought several dozen Hunter products over the years, but this item had several junk metal parts, several design interference fits on exhaust, sockets, & cover that I had to fix on assembly (am qualified mech). regretted buy

Quiet and attentive

Perfect light/fan combo. Only complaint I have is that "Hunter" is written on frosted glass. Maybe there was a way to take that off-- is it a sticker maybe? Otherwise perfect

Hunter Ellipse Exhaust Fan and Light

I bought this product for its look. It looks great in my bath room. It is very easy to install and works great. I consider the fan to be very quiet. The light is enough for night light use but definetly not bright enough for makeup. My only complaint would be it not LED its a regular edison appliance bulb.
