Great...until it isn't

Reviewing this mid August 2024 and bought it in May this year. It started out working great, kept ice long enough to last through the night. Waking up to cold water in the morning was nice. Maybe a month or so ago, I noticed the press-in straw lid feeling looser like it didn't have as much "grip" as it used to when it was new. It's also collecting moisture on top now (lid and straw base). For reference, I put the lid on the top rack of the dishwasher since the product is listed as dishwasher safe. Not sure why this issue is coming up since it hasn't had a bad fall, has no dents, and is constantly protected with a boot on.

Disappointed

I’ve never been so disappointed with your products. It keeps ice & water cold, that’s the good thing. The lid sweats so there is always moisture on top which then runs off either on your shirt or dribbles on your pants. This particular tumbler is definitely not leak proof. If it falls over- it’s leaking. Maybe I didn’t order the correct one for what I wanted. This sure isn’t a favorite of mine. I have enough of your other products that I do like, just wanted a quality tumbler.

Piked up this one for my wife.

I already had a 40oz in Fir, but my wife liked it so much it was in danger of being seized (my wife's version of Eminent Domain, less the fair compensation), so I ordered her one in Trillium. While I was at it, I picked up a 32oz in Agave for work.

Something Went Wrong

My other Hydro Flask purchases have been through rigorous washing with no problem. But this one did not. The Logo smeared. Everything else about the product is as expected. It keeps my water cold as I move about on my errands. It is also quite easy to manage when I am driving; the handle makes it easy to pick up and put back in the cup holder and my water is readily accessible through the straw. I was considering another purchase in a different color. I also thought it might be a great gift item. I will neither purchase additional cups nor gift this item to others.

Beautiful color and quality

I’m really happy with my tumbler. it fits in my car console. Say I buy a drink. Fast food cups can be flimsy and they can spill so I can pour that into my Hydro flask and be assured that it Will not spill in my vehicle and it will stay cold and stay Colder longer than it Does in t food cups. That’s the last thing you wanna do is spill a drink down into that console. It happened to me one time because they did not have the lid on their tight enough. The shift was never the same after that. And I was a big drink. The old guy looked at me and made a face while it was him. And then another time I got a drink in a defective cup, and I ask them to come out to my car with paper towels and fix that. I would always keep one of these in your car.

I absolutely LOVE the travel tumbler!!!! It’s the perfect tumbler to take with you no matter where your life takes you! The handle was the selling point for me. I have tons of other flasks and tumblers but having to constantly wrap my hands around was tiresome-especially with the 60oz. This makes grasping sooooo much easier and effortless. Love that there’s additional straws to add in different color. This is my second traveler purchased so I have one at home and one at work. Keep adding new color options please and thank you!😊

Better than the others

Great aesthetics - looks awesome, feels good in the hand- good handle design and weight proportions. Water stays cold and ice remains when I fill it with cubes to the 1/2 level. The only things I don’t like is the straw sorta wobbles as if it isn’t firmly seated and the bottom of the tumbler doesn’t set down firmly- feels like it could easily tip over. Not a problem in the vehicle cup holder but feels unsteady on a desk or table. I put one of my Hydroflask boots on it and that helped. I like it enough to have purchased the next size up! I work outdoors in Arizona, getting in and out of a truck often. The work truck will accommodate a larger size (which I ended up needing in this summer heat) but my personal vehicle will only fit the 32oz. The Baltic color is beautiful and the finish is classy. Everything you’d expect from a HydroFlask product.

Beautiful cup in limited edition color, works as advertised

In a world dominated with travel tumblers branded starting with a letter S, I read a big east coast city's Times review on best leakproof tumbler and they said that Hydroflask was the winner. So I said, everyone is carrying that other brand as a fashion statement, I want function. When I saw this limited edition color with its pink swirls, I said, "perfect". It's beautiful, it keeps my drink icy cold even overnight, and I really, really like the silicone straw rather than a rigid one. I have a (perhaps irrational but then it was on some episode of a fire/rescue drama my mom watches) fear of somehow falling or hitting a bump in the road and having a rigid straw pierce the roof of my mouth. The soft straw is comfortable and it flexes easily to my mouth when I'm driving, avoiding having to tilt my head in any weird way so as to momentarily shift my eyes away from the road. It fits my little cup holders in my Bronco Sport perfectly with the handle well above the level of the cup holder so there's no wobble. It sits squarely on my desk without being too top heavy so I don't worry about it tipping, and the press on lid is very secure. The straw is long enough to stir my sugar-free flavor drops into my water, and it is indeed encouraging me to drink more on a daily basis. Water, that is, not liquor. It's my job that encourages the latter (I kid, I kid). Anyway, you can't really go wrong with this design, I might order a second one in another color and have it engraved. And buy extra silicon straws, this one is pretty sturdy but I'm a straw chewer so who knows how long it'll stand my chompers. (The small bottle boot was purchased separately from Hydroflask.)

I am a Hydro gal for a long time now, and I had a special occasion I was waiting for confirmation to celebrate. When I knew it was all good I purchased my All Around Tumbler, 32 oz in a lovely bright blue. I hoped it wouldn’t feel too big or too heavy but it’s just right. The handle is very secure and makes it so much easier to move around the house. Because this is a straw type cup it stays home, so I got the special engraving I always wanted. I purchased extra straws and like that I can customize. I am very happy with the quality of the engraving and the price it’s offered for. I can’t wait to get another piece as soon as I can. As for the tumbler, I find the size really works for me. I fill all with ice and then water and in that combo it stays icy overnight. The size is just right, I consider two full rounds a goal for my daily water. I have a couple of the type with the screw on lids but those aren’t great for when you are home or driving. I love my All Around and can’t wait to get another. I haven’t been this excited about something in a long time. Love it !

LEAKED

i bought a hydro flask years ago, so when they came out with the new pink tumblers I was so excited to get one. They advertise all their bottles as leak proof, and mine leaked. I had the entire tumbler filled with water and it tipped upside down and the lid fell off completely and water got everywhere. The lid felt very unsecure to begin with so I'm not sure if mine was just defective but still not happy with it. The straw was also extremely hard to drink out of. Overall, just not happy with it, which is sad because I've been a hydro flask purchaser for a long time. It's also taken 2 weeks for my return, and I still haven't received my money back yet.

Silicone Straw

I really love this cup. But hair and fuzz is always sticking to the tip of my straw because it’s silicone. I bought a silicone straw cover, but now if there is hair on the tip of the straw, it just shoves it into the cover anyway. If they made an option for a hard plastic straw or metal or something, that would make it a lot better. But it’s very annoying as of right now.

Cute and functional

I think I will be team hydro flask forever! I don’t know who makes those things but the one thing I consistently notices about this brand it’s that they think about where potential mold could hide and they make sure their product doesn’t have any design problems that would hide mold. I have tried so many brands but this one is my favorite by far!

Love My New Tumbler!

This beautiful 32 oz tumbler is everything I hoped it to be! I’ve seen other tumblers around, and held off getting one until Hydroflask came out with their own. I own plenty of their water bottles, but this tumbler is perfect for my ice water sipping needs. I’m on meds that dehydrate me, so this tumbler prompts me to keep on drinking! I was a little apprehensive about the silicone straw because I know some straws made out of silicone take on the flavor of the rubbery material. I’m pleased to say this straw is completely flavorless and allows me to enjoy a crystal clear, clean taste of ice water with every sip! In wanting to protect my tumbler, I bought an opaque silicone boot for it; it’s a third party purchase, but it fit my tumbler and keeps it from sliding and eliminates any unpleasant bonking noises of setting it down; kind of a must for a water vessel that is top heavy and in need of a bit of stability. My ice water stays cold for 24 hours and ice cubes last for 16-20 hours. It’s quickly become my emotional support tumbler! I love the Dew color!

Love the cup - but QA issues with the lid (even the replacement provided)

This cup is a great size, perfect for having at my desk and not refilling as frequently. I researched cups and selected this one due to the lid being less likely to leak. This would be accurate if there weren't quality issues with the lid. I worked with customer support on this and a replacement lid was sent, however it didn't match the cup (blue cup, black lid). A new cup was also sent, however the lid on the new cup doesn't seal either... The cup seals perfectly with the non-matching lid...but neither lid that matches the purchased cup will seal and easily spills if the cup tips to the side. Frustrating...

BEST Overall Travel Tumbler

I absolutely love Hydro Flasks products. I've ordered many over the past few years and have never experienced problems. The lasts forever. Recently I purchased 3 travel tumblers and all work great for me and my husband. These travel tumblers fit my car's compartments. And, best of all, the ice doesn't melt, even overnight, it stays really cold. I should say, my previous icemaker made larger ice cubes and those held up overnight. Recently, I purchased another refrigerator and unfortunately, the ice cubes are smaller and it they melt much quicker than the others overnight. But, overall, Hydro Flask makes the best travel tumblers. Thanks Hydro Flask for all your products.

A little disappointed

I have been an avid hydroflask user since I was in elementary school. I own probably around 15 in total. I’ve been though all the hoops with Hydroflask like getting a replacement for a old damaged bottle with their life time warranty and have always had great experiences with their customer service. I use my 32 ounce straw tumbler every single day for water (it’s discontinued now) so when I saw these came out I knew I needed the 40 ounce one. I waited over a month for them to come in stock as I had my heart set on having the pink one. It came in this morning in the mail after it being delayed and having a long wait. I was so excited but that excitement was quickly followed by some disappointment when I went to wash it. The lid isn’t insulated at all like my lid for all my previous tumblers is and honestly just feels like a cheep piece of plastic in comparison. Overall I don’t feel like it meets the quality of what I usually get with Hydroflask and for a $50 water bottle I kinda expected better. I still love it and I know I will use it everyday I just wanted to give that warning and feedback to Hydroflask that I was expecting a higher quality that matches the previous products.
