Weak packaging, caused plastic shroud to break in several locations. It didn't "look" any better quality compared to others in lower price range and similar specs. I returned it, prior to unboxing it.

Plastic fan guard was broken in two areas. Called phone # on instructions. I think I got help but no indication that a replacement guard is heading my way. I sent Pics and filled out claim for but have not received a conformation . Please help if you get this review.

This compressor is great and exceeds my expectations of it. It offers the perfect amount of power and is not very loud at all as compared to my old 15 gal craftsman compressor.

Works great so far, appears to be good quality runs smooth and quietly. Pumps to cutoff pressure in minutes. Best part is it made right here in the good old USA. It was a good price and free shipping was a bonus. The driver was very polite and wheeled right into my garage. Highly recommend this compressor to others.

First Air Compressor

This is my first air compressor and I bought it to run air carving tools for sculpture work. It seems to be a nice mid-range compressor and can run my tools effectively. It was easy to unpack and setup. I wish it would have come with a quick connect attached already, as I've seen many others in this price range have. Also, and I know this is common, but why don't these come with an easier way to drain out the water? Reaching under is a pain, and now I need to purchase yet another attachment to make this easier.

Dangerous junk

After less than 30 uses in 3 years my tank cracked at the weld at the bottom of the tank. The unit was stored in a climate controlled environment and was barely used since dewalt power tools made it mostly obsolete. The tank was drained everytime I was done using it. I called Industrial Air and since it was out of warranty they didn't care. That is a pretty dangerous defect that they had zero concern over. Buyer beware. The unit was quiet and worked well but liked accumulating moisture so draining it is a must. Chinese steel and welding will catch up to you eventually no matter how well you care for it of how little it gets used. A waste of time and money. Buy something else.

I have been looking to upgrade my 30 year old working compressor.This is the compressor I chose for my next 30 years of service. The local Home Depot sent a email when it was ready to pick up. I arrived at the store's customer service and was greeted and quickly helped with paperwork and then a employee brought it out to the curb where I was.It is fairly heavy and he helped get it on the bed of my pickup and I was on my way. It was quick and easy at the store and everyone was helpful.Arriving home I unloaded the compressor and removed it from the box. It was in good shape upon arrival. After reading the manual I put it through the break in procedure, everything went well. This compressor is very quiet much like my old one that is also belt driven, and that is the way to go. After about 6 minutes the tank is filled to pressure and shuts off as it should. I like this compressor and look forward and expect that it will perform well and last a long time. I did a lot of looking before I chose this brand and model, it is working well and am satisfied with the performance.

I have been using this compressor for a couple weeks now and it works great, very stable on it's platform and quiet when running, compared to my last compressor the noise level is about half. I would recommend and buy again.

Works great for my air ratchet and doesn't run out of air for a ling time. Can rotate all my tires with out it turning on once. Takes a long time to fill up but once its full it holds a lot of air and puts out plenty. Haven't had it ling enough to report on durability but am happy with it so far. Also quite quiet.
