I really wanted a screen that would open and this fits the bill. We set it up but unfortunately it did not work out for us. The screen stuck out a bit due to the stand so didn't look as nice next to our fireplace.

Sleek, minimalistic fireplace screen. It's sturdy enough that it doesn't too Over easily and the doors allow for easy access to toss logs onto the fire. Very easy to assemble and has held up nicely on our outdoor fireplace

Light weight yet sturdy. Easy to open to put in the wood for our fires.

I bought this for my neighbor as the 1 we bought and love is juist slightly too short to cover the top corners of her fireplace opening. This screen fit her fireplace very well and looks very good!

Will NOT sit flush to your fireplace opening

I rent so don't want to make permanent changes and don't want to spend a ton to block drafts and pets from the fireplace. Bought this screen and magnetic fireplace blanket. Unfortunately, couldn't tell from the product description and photos, but this screen will NOT sit flush against the hearth, as support feet extend from outermost edge of the frame on both the front and back. Other models are better designed with interior supports toward center. Now I have to return and spend more $$$.

Nicely made and heavy. I returned it because I found something that fit my fireplace opening better but this is a nice screen.

I bought this screen to cover my fireplace as the one I had was not working as needed. This has been fine and we haven't had any embers pop out.

Easy to assemble, and relatively sturdy. Unfortunately, the bar across the top was bent in the center and the doors are slightly misaligned.

Clean lines and solid construction

Easy to put together. Sturdy and simple. Exactly what we needed as a protective front for our gas fireplace. We removed the old chain link curtain from our gas fireplace and swapped out the dated faux logs and ashes with glass. The fire is too hot and scorched the glass. The whole thing clearly needs some attention from a pro, but meanwhile this gives us protection. ETA: Removed a star because the two doors aren't lined up. One is slightly lower than the other. We only noticed it when we were sitting in front of the fireplace last evening.

Love it

I upgraded my tri fold gate for a single panel and I love the amount of space that it saved. The gate is modern and sleek. The only issue is that the legs in the back keep it from laying flush against the fireplace.

This screen is exactly what I was looking for. It's very sturdy and has a simple, visually appealing design. Assembly was very easy and the doors work really well. My only gripe is that the back legs make it to sit about 3-4" from the fireplace. I wish it would sit more flush against it.

This is a good quality piece. Easy to assemble. It shipped quickly and arrived in perfect condition. Has made a huge improvement to the fireplace's look since it replaced a brass screen from the early 90s. I would buy it again. The only negative is that it's about an inch narrower than the opening. Still looks great.

This was exactly the fireplace green we wanted - it would have fit well and looked good.

Not sturdy

Not very sturdy and when you open the doors the whole screen falls over.

Good but has a few quality issues

The good: Looks nice and seems like it may last a long time. It's functional and serves the intended purpose. The bad: The doors are not mounted evenly and the welding isn't very clean in several places.
