Great mat and price point

Love this mat especially since it has a reversible side that is more neutral colored. Other reviews mentioned it coming apart after wiping it down and idk what they’re doing but we wipe ours daily with Clorox wipes and have not had this issue after having it for 12 months now. I also loved that this mat didn’t cost 100 like most I’ve seen. Only thing I will say is this mat is good for ppl with carpet if you have hardwood flooring I wouldn’t recommend it as it’s not super thick.

Hazardous and risky plastic

Flimsy sides that would not stand up properly but the most important negative part which is why i am leaving this review is because it is hazardous for your baby. I bought this 10 months ago (my baby is 10 months) and i noticed the design and the plastic it has on top started to separate as if it was melting. I didn't matter because it still together nad the mat was firm, but one day my baby was playing and all of a sudden i noticed she had a piece of plastic on her hand, i ran to it and found her ripping the plastic from the rug. Under the plastic she pulled its very sticky, this was scary she could've choked if i weren't there.

Easy clean. No traction for crawlers.

I like the size, padding, and that this can easily be cleaned. My baby is always spitting up, even at 7 months, so the ability to wipe off is great. Unfortunately, this also means the material is slick and baby just slides around. She is trying to crawl, but can't get any traction so ends up pushing herself backwards. The foldable sides are useless. The are easily pushed down and baby pushes herself right off the mat. I still use this since it's so easy to clean and put away when not using, but keep the cons in mind when considering purchasing.

Larger than expected, slippery

Larger than expected, I see a few comments asking the unfolded size and the answer given is always the folded size. I didn't measure but would estimate it at about 4' x 4'. Larger than I expected when seeing it folded up. It's pretty slippery so I don't think it will be good for crawling. My son is 7 months and close to crawling. On this he just slid around on his belly. I guess slippery because the material is meant to be wiped down/easy to clean. My son wiggled himself to the side and was able to pull it down by laying on it pretty easily. I don't think we'll get a ton of use out of it, but at least it gives a bit of cushion.

We love this mat! Bought it when our baby was 6months and now 9months. It is used every day! No issues and there are toys all over it. We purchased it because he would chew on the blanket we would put down. This has been wonderful. We use it for travel as well. Who wants their child crawling around on a hotel floor, ABNB floor, etc? Not us! It folds up well and is compact for travel. When your child is mobile they are going to push down the sides. Unless you put them in a truly contained space you will have that esp as your baby progresses. It is not the fault of the mat. This mat has tons of toys on it and no issues. Very happy with this purchase and all of our Infantino purchases thus far.

Dont count on keeoing baby in, but its decent enough

Love that it’s simple, folding, light, great price, reversible, and what I was really looking for was something with sides. I was pumped when I found this, but unfortunately the sides were a disappointment..for me at least. I don’t know what I was expecting. I suppose some magical lightweight folding foam walls that also had the strength of wood to keep them in? :) Didn’t use my common sense too well on this one. They’re super flimsy and not sure if mine was defected but it has extra fold/creases which makes it even worse and one side barely stays up. My babe was doing the commando “crawl” and he had no problem pushing them over. Also, my four year was constantly stepping on the sides, so it was doomed from the get. As long as you’re not expecting something to keep a crawling baby from going over, then this is great!

Great mat for home and on the go!

We love this play mat! My little guy is scooting and rolling but not yet crawling, this play mat is perfect for us to move room to room on our hardwood floors, gives him enough traction to roll and scoot, and will be perfect to take on a few trips this summer so that baby won't be playing on hotel/rental floors :) Infantino really thought of everything with the zip up carry case! The mat is big enough that we can lie down with baby during floor time, even with the walls up and fits all of his favorite toys. Unlike some other reviewers, the walls have help up nicely for us, the instructions to put them up are simple and effective when followed, initially i just winged it and the walls were iffy, so if you aren't impressed with them try following the user guide, maybe it'll help! I don't expect the walls to contain him once he's fully mobile, but for now this is our favorite place to play.

I have 3 small dogs and a sulfur crested cockatoo. My cockatoo LOVES to "feed" the dogs birdseed. between my roomba, dyson and broom. I can't keep up and I am constantly throughout the day cleaning the floor of seeds. I am terrified my 7month old is going to just grab a dog tail or a peanut shell and she's going to get bit or a peanut shell is going to go flying and she'll somehow grab it before I can. This keeps my pups out, and a safe area I can basically sit with her and keep my eyes on one area of flying peanut shells. My baby has hands faster than a ninja! if I'm not home and my mom is watching her I just wanted that extra step of safety. THIS IS IT! This is SUPER lightweight. The sides easily tuck in, cleaning it is a breeze! I only wish the material was not as easy to scratch as my little chunky Pomeranian when she does the zoomies/hyper does tend to jump in with us while playing. I've noticed it's scratching from her. I'll be buying another one soon because I don't like the dents from her claws. the printed image is not ripping, just an indentation of claw marks. I love this so much. Everyone should get one. im ordering one for my bff she's due in March :) Thank you Infantino! Come out with more prints! I want more options 😂

You get what you pay for

Great and affordable option if you are looking for something to keep your child off of the bare floor. The material also provides extra grip which helps with baby learning to crawl. The only thing I don’t like is how easily punctured it is. I wish one side had more protective material. If you have dogs with listening problems I do not reccomend because of this, we have had ours only 2 days and already have multiple punctures in the mat from them walking by or stretching and putting their nails on the mat. But I can not complain too much because of how affordable the mat was. As long as the holes don’t worsen on their own I’ll be fine. But they definitely could make some affordable changes to prevent this I feel like.

Perfect large travel play mat

This is absolutely fantastic for travel! We purchased this after seeing a recommendation on TikTok the night before we left on a big trip. It was exactly what we needed for our 4 month old to do tummy time safely in a clean and controlled environment. All the colors kept her occupied and touching at the colors to see if they felt different. It was totally adorable. It’s easy to fold up and packs pretty flat so it didn’t take up much room in the trunk. We will be using this at home as well. I love how that it folds up to make a n enclosure that works well to keep my rolling, scooting baby contained but it definitely won’t stop a baby that can crawl or pull up. I will probably be a nice place for a shallow ball pit for older babies and toddlers.
