We bought this curtain rod because of the tight spacing of the window. It was a good application for this type of installation. The only complaint I have is the reason for the 2 star rating. I was charged for shipping PLUS oversize product. $8.95 I believe for shipping AND a selection separate charge for oversize product. Another $8.95!!! I called customer service and they coukd not give me a break on one of the charges. I checked elsewhere for the same product & could not find it. This is my last product I'll buy from JC Penny unless they learn to give repeat customers a break. Crazy!!

The holes in the bracket for the rod were so offset I had to return them. It made it hard to swing and too low once swung away from window.

not a curtain rod

Braket for mouting on wall is only 1/2 inch projecting from wall. On product description it states braket projection mounts 4 inches off the wall. With this error when mounted on the wall above the door, the curtain hanging does not have proper clearance over the door frame. I have never seen such a bad design even for a normal curtain rods. I am so disappointed in this product. Lost of time was wasted in researched, waited for shipment to find out. Reached out to customer service and could reach anyone

The Achim ACHIM Brent 20-36 "Innovative Swing Arm Curtain Rod. Are great. I was looking for a way have my curtains close while running the air conditioner in the summer months . This was a great answer to the problem .I could leave the side with the air conditioner open and close the other side while the air conditioning was running. I found them easy to install. They look great.

Love swing rods!

I absolutely love these swing rods they are so easy to use and install. I removed folding closet doors and put 2 swing rods with sheer curtains in place of them. There was a perfect Corner in the room for a dresser but because of the folding doors we couldn't utilize that corner. When I put the swing rods up they very easily open the sheersj ust flow to the dresser, my grandson can get in the closet easily and it doesn't affect the dresser at all. Not to mention how nice the whole look is

This was a great solution to a window on a door, that opened inward against a wall. I needed to block the light in the daytime yet I didn’t want to drill into this fine wood door. I was concerned about possible sagging of the rod due to curtain weight. I found that adjusting the tension of the screw in the swivel adjusts the elevation of the rod! I have a heavy weight dark curtain that extends 3’ wide and is level/ no sag bro
