A bit flimsier than I expected.

I got nervous about the quality of the food. There were quite a few shards and some cracking in places. The small rectangular side steps that weren't even half a foot by half a foot got wet from a sprinkler and sagged in the middle. One split while I was screwing it in. I had already fetched some wood glue to try and seal up the screw holes in the wood as well as stabilize a few of the sections. The cushions and hinged roof is a great addition to this kind of structure. I am glad I bought it but I have prepared myself to the idea that I'll have to replace it - possibly after two winters.

Cute house

Needed something for this stray that has taken up residency in my backyard. Pretty easy to put together. I'll still probably have to figure out how to heat it for him.In the winter, but he loves it.

Worst quality and most expensive cat house I’ve ever purchased

It is poorly made. Plain and simple. I could see this house being reasonable if it was $50 at the most. Thin wood, and just overall not good quality at all. Even after it is all the way assembled the house is still very flimsy feeling. The “steps” for the cat to get to the second level porch area bow the wall of the house to the point I expect them to break off within a week.

Not worth the price

The wood quality will not last long for outdoor feral cats so I'll have to spray it to waterproof. The wood is very soft and light weight so I doubt this will last two seasons. The dowls on two sections did not line up to the pre-drilled holes so I had to improvise. I expected a better quality item for the price. Finally, assemble outside. It has a terrible odor out of the box. But it's cute.

The house was a very good size.

I liked the size of the house. It easily would fit 3 cats, but we have just two. I added heated pads to keep them warm and placed it in a location that blocks the prevalent NW winter winds. They already are using it and we are very pleased.

I have 2 cats and they love to be outside in their large Catio. They are brother and sister, so having 2 different beds is wonderful. No fighting and no need for sharing one .

There were a few vague instructions in the assembly, but it's a nice sturdy unit that should last a few years.

Poor quality control

When I opened the box, the first panel that I looked at had splintered wood. I called HD and they sent an email to the manufacturer. Late at night I received an email from the manufacturer requesting pictures. Their solution was for me to try to fix it and get a discount from HD. There is no fixing that panel, as there is no support, the screw has splintered the wood.
