My granddaughter loves this toy! I wasn't sure if she would be interested since she is only 9 months old. The package says 6 to 36 months, so I thought if she doesn't interact with it now, she will grow in to it. I was really surprised. She of course watched her dad the entire time it took him to get it out of the package. It was really well packed. It shows on the box that it includes the batteries, but it did not in fact include them. Luckily we had some in the house so she could get right to playing.
