This bench was everything I had wanted. The original chairs to our kitchen table all broke down over the years, and since the table is still good we just wanted chair replacements for our large family. As I waited for the two-tone benches with the similar design, they were either constantly out of stock, or the price was just outrageous. Since we already had most of the supplies on hand, we took a chance, that way we could make this our own. It came well packaged and was extremely easy to assemble. It is very sturdy. I painted the bottom white, and my husband stained and finished the top to match our kitchen table. We actually bought two and they turned out perfectly. Absolutely what I was looking for!!

This is a very sturdy bench. I bought it to use with my new dining room table since most benches for indoor use stop at 48”. The sanding finish on this was very well done so it painted beautifully and I would highly recommend this purchase.

Beautiful...until...

Nice bench if you are painting or leaving unfinished, about a foot of it would take stain!!! Now I have to try to sand down the entire thing to see if I can save it...waste of my time and money!

An excellent buy

An excellent value. We painted, then sealed this bench about a year ago and it still looks brand new. It is heavy and well-made. It was also easy to put together.

These fit perfectly with my table sold separately. Heavy and comfortable. Packaging was incredible. Need to figure out what color stain but thoroughly pleased with this purchase.

Very sturdy bench! I finished the top with 1 coat of Varathane Carbon Gray stain to match the table I refinished and painted the bottom in a matte black by rustoleum. Topcoated with 3 coats of brush on minwax oil based poly and 3 coats of wipe on poly

Bench fits our custom table perfectly! We stained them and they look gorgeous. The wood is a bit soft... there’s scratches in the meantime from our dog jumping up on them ♀️
