Solid wood, beautiful, great storage space

This solid unfinished wood cabinet is beautiful. We bought two. One was easy to put together. One had a tiny misalignment on the door, which made assembly trickier, but the outcome was worth it. We have it packed with items--tons of storage space--and the doors stay closed. Love this cabinet!

Cabinet doors don't fit

This furniture has been a disaster to put together, and for that reason is still sitting unfinished taking up space in my garage for 6 months. The doors did not close/align properly based on the pre-drilled holes for the hinges. I will have to sand down one door to make it smaller, and even though it won't stick well to the magnet. Not recommend.

I would give it 5 stars but it required extra work to remove some substance on the surface of the top, I was able to sand most of it away, it was an unstainable spot otherwise. It also required some extra work to get the doors even. The knobs are too big and the holes for them are too close together, had to buy new knobs. Other than that it’s a decent cabinet for storage, it works perfectly for my purpose.

Doors Hang Crooked

The wood is solid, heavy, and pretty. I found it very easy to put together. It is receiving 3 stars because the doors don't hang properly, even with the predrilled hole placements. One door doesn't close all the way. It was very disappointing.

Nice quality wood. We stained the top and painted the rest white. Replaced the knobs with black metal ones. Overall, the results look double the price of what we paid for the cabinet. We did have to drill deeper and slightly larger holes for the door hinges. We found it too difficult to get the screw in properly without drilling deeper holes. The doors hung symmetrical with no extra effort beyond drilling deeper holes.

Good Value Product

For the price, this is a nice piece of furniture. It arrived very well packaged. It does have a very strong formaldehyde odor. I plan to stain it and have had the pieces out on our covered screened porch for at least a week hoping the fumes will dissipate before I stain and seal them in. Seems to be getting a little better and with luck will be fine to start working on the finish in another week or so.

I bought two of these, had them delivered to the store for pick-up. One of them was missing the hardware packet -- the nuts and bolts and washers you need for assembly. It took about a month for the replacement packet to arrive. When I tried to put the cupboard together, there were significant misalignments such that I had to saw notches into the back so that it would fit. Then it turned out that the replacement bolts were the wrong size -- which I discovered too late, damaging the side of the cupboard. The other cupboard had a broken door receiving magnet assembly. Maybe the door will shut properly, maybe not. I'm not sure what else might be wrong with the unit because I haven't finished putting it together yet. I'm hoping I can salvage it -- get a workable cabinet in spite of the poor quality control. My advice: Don't buy this product. Just stay away.
