The pool it absolutely perfect for the place we had to put one, it definitely takes longer than 60 minutes to put up and you need more than 2 people. We absolutely love it the instructions could be better than they are and the reason it's getting 4 stars and not 5 is because we didn't receive the free floats. All in all it's worth it if you are ready to put in the work and spend more money for water

You’ve got to be kidding me right? I ordered at 10pm and the next morning the order was cancelled. No one knows why. When I went to re-order it… it was $150 more. I called and was told once it came if I ordered it again I would get the money back. Was given a reference number. Still haven’t gotten the money back. Shipping was 7 days. On the 7th day I received a box of pool floats. No pool. I’ve been on and off the phone with Walmart and communicating with this “third party” seller for weeks. Finally got the pool and the delivery company didn’t even knock… just let the pool in the MIDDLE of my driveway on a pallet where we can’t even park our cars. Did I mention we are in an HOA and already received a fine for this. Because it took 3 weeks to get here, I already got another pool and installed it. I have contacted Walmart and the third party seller multiple times to do a return because of the insane situation and no one will get back to me. Your customer service is horrible, you’ve now cost me more money in fines at my home and I still haven’t gotten my $1600 back for a pool I don’t need anymore. I will never shop with you again and I’ll tell all my friends now unprofessional you are! Did I mention I had to pay a company to come move the pool? So now I’ve put $2300 into a $1590 pool with fines and equipment to move it and I don’t even need it since it never showed up on time and no one could actually tell me where it was or if it was coming after 2 weeks.

Not Home Depot’s fault but Intex quality has declined. And this pool was to replace one “exactly like it” that we got about 10 years ago but 9x18 is no longer the same size. And the overall quality doesn’t feel or look the same. I will be surprised if we get 5 years out of this one. As for shipping/damage/delivery, it arrived on time but both the outer and inner packaging boxes were damaged. No damage that I could find on the parts.

Not loving this pool

Home Depot was great, the pool is great but not for me, it’s the scariest pool to swim in it moves, and creaks and feels like it’s gonna fall. Ground was professionally leveled and it’s still not level. I have spent 3 weeks trying to not make this look like a giant garbage dumpster in my yard, can’t wait til it’s gone. I would give 1 star for me, but in all fairness someone else might like this pool

No free floaters, no instructions.

Would have been a 5 star BUT: didn’t receive any of the free floaters/chairs; no instructions came for the ladder, ended up having to take it apart halfway thru and re-assemble; instructions didn’t mention that the plywood supports for the frame were supposed to be below the floor of the pool so the support pipes are level, so again, had to stop and fix; had 4 strapping men to install, one who has done it before, and it still took 2 days because of the lack of clear instructions.

Assembled specifications is incorrectly stated

I bought this only having available the exact width specified (9') as the assembled width listed on the website(9'). It requires a foot more and now I have to return it. Exact assembled size, including braces needs to be specified. I'm very dissatisfied and disappointed.

Missing pieces

I will change my rating when I finally get this pool set up. It was missing one small single pin when we took it out of the box. Working with Intex is a joke so we just ordered the piece. With a two week shipping time frame it should be set up by winter. If you buy this pool check all the pieces before you leave the store.

I will get many years of enjoyment

Im sure that I will enjoy it for many years to come. The delivery was very accommodating when I couldnt be home for it. I wish that the ladder was wider. Only a very skinny person can use it. It took my husband 2 1/2 days to get it up.

Great pool, iffy filter

So this isn't our first pool however it's our first large sized pool and for a family of 4 this is absolutely perfect and it's actually deep enough for adults which is a total plus. Upon receiving this pool I got a sand filter which is included and mine was defective and didn't work. I tried to return and or get a replacement and nothing was ever resolved so I had to buy another filter altogether but besides that I do love this pool. I especially love the shape, it fit better in our yard and it's still a decent size pool. There are many inter accessories you can buy and they all work great with this pool as well. I plan on moving soon and when we do we will be upgrading to the larger 32ft version of this pool. It's economical and I truly think will last a few summers to come.

This pool is great. It was not 60 minutes though to put together. It took two of us 2 1/2 hours.The instructions were horrible. We kept having to redo where the poles go.

the liner is squres and where one piece is connected to the other is off so it doesn't look all that great when filled with water.

Only one part missing. The plastic pins that connect the pump to the filter. Called the number on the box only to be given the runaround from a recording that ended up losing the connection.

Great for Hydrotherapy

I purchased this pool to use for my hydrotherapy. I used to go have to go to the YMCA and use their pool, but now I have the convenience of just walking in my backyard for some exercise. This pool was easy to set up, not too big, and I was really surprised with the quality of the liner material and how easy it is to keep this pool clean. I've heard that pools above ground don't last very long, but I don't see this having to replace this pool anytime soon! I would recommend this pool to anyone who is looking to for the privacy and convenience of hydrotherapy at home.

Love this pool!!

We are so happy with this pool. We have always had round pools and haven't had the best of luck. The sand filter works so much better then the ones that hang on the side. With the wind in ND I could never get the pool cover to stay on the round pool but with the shape of this one I've had no problems. The set up was a little harder then I expected but when my husband got home we were able to get it up pretty quickly. Would recommend this pool to anyone.

Great pool - plan your install.

This is a full day installation. Plan out everything and you should be fine. The box is the size of a refrigerator box. Be careful opening it. I used 12" x 12" x 2" cement pavers for the leg supports. My yard is a bit uneven. The right side is about 4 inches higher than the left. In my yard, this has the effect of creating a shallower portion on the high side. After laying out the pool and the legs, and making sure they were relatively lined up, I dug out my sod to put in the pavers (check the pictures) for the leg supports. As you're filling it, the top will bow in and makes you nervous. As the water approaches the grey fill line, it will come back out. I used a skimmer on one of the supply lines so it grabs leaves, insects and such. Everything fit as expected, it's just a bit of work. Plan accordingly and read the directions.

Bad quality

Seemed like a great pool and purchase until I set it up...liner had a hole in it in a folded area. Dealing with intex on this is not a fun experience. Not to mention my time, my funds shipping their requested cutouts of liner and proof of purchase back to them. Who knows how long or if I will even receive a new liner! Graduation pool party next week isn't going to happen now! Thanks for nothing

Best Buy ever

Love this pool! Kids swim in it almost everyday. Very easy to set up. Directions are pretty clear not hard to figure out. Very easy to maintain thought it would be hard because it's so big but the sand filter pump works great! Drawbacks the ladder is horrible. Very unstable I don't like the kids climbing it when I'm not right next to them. I don't even like climbing into the pool with it it is so unsteady.
