Great container!

This is large enough for 3 medium sized bags of dry cat food, or one large and two medium. Rolling wheels are a great feature. Body is narrow enough to tuck into a corner. Transparent plastic lets me see what's inside. The only flaw is that the lid does not stay up very well, it plops down and has to be re-opened. Otherwise, it does exactly what I needed it for: discreet, airtight, cat food storage in my dressing room.

Perfect for birdseed and cat food storag!

This answered my needs perfectly! This container is the perfect size for a bag of birdseed with a scoop, keeping it secure, moisture free and keeps the seed from attracting insects or varmints. he rollers help me a lot... no more back pains from moving it in and out from under the lower shelves in my storage area. Rolls in and out easily. I can see how much food is inside and keep it on order as needed. Perfect solution. And, the kitty food fills it just right, has the same benefits and rolls into the closet easily. I am extremely pleased with this container!

Perfect cart for any bulk storage

Exceptional quality. Perfect for any type of bulk storage. Lightweight yet durable, easy to maneuver because the wheels work great, and the lid latches easily to keep out anything unwanted…..(moisture, critters, etc.) Can be used for food storage, clothing, grandkids toys, etc. Many uses!! I’m ordering another one and probably more in the future also. And the price for this is excellent!

Okay bin, poor lid

The wheels to the bin appear to function correctly and were easy to attach. The lid was very difficult to attach. We finally figured out that the only way to get it to attach was to lay the lid on top and try to snap the two brackets in place. Most lids like this attach in the open position and then are closed to seal. I am using it for bird seed and it easily takes a large bag of bird seed - it might take almost 2 large bags.

It is a nice size and holds the amount of dog food advertised. My only complaint, which is a big one, is that the lid does not work properly. I can't tell you how many times I have attached the lid on the swinging contraption on the back to have it disengage when opening. I unclasp the front latch to retreive dog food and the lid literally falls off! It is very likely I will replace this product as soon as I can find a suitable replacement.

Needs redesigning

This is the first time I have received a bad product from Chewy. I needed to use tools to attach the lid. Finger pressure did not work. The lid is nearly too small. I have to put my body weight on it to close. There was also dirt (black marks) in the plastic at the top of the bin. If it wasn't so much trouble, I would return it. Very, very disappointed.

False Advertising Does Not Hold 30lbs

False advertising. I’ve been looking for a dog food storage container that could hold the entire bag of dog food still in the bag and from the picture this looked like it could work. When I received I instantly knew it was too small for that, but I didn’t want to deal with return so I decided to just dump my brand new 30lb bag of dog food out and use it that way without the bag. This container was advertised to hold 30 pounds of food and that is not true. I was still left with about 1/4 of the bag of once it was full. The container feels thin and the lid is flimsy. Would have rather used a trash can. Do not buy if you intend it to hold 30 pounds of food, like it says….

Great option for pet food storage

Guess I don't agree with some of the reviewer's comments that mention cheap and/or flimsy. For me being an elder stateman the lids weren't the easiest to put on, but still only took about 10 minutes total for two containers. But otherwise, FOR THE PRICE PAID I find that these will be perfectly suitable for our dog and cat food. Before I got these containers you'd see dog & cat food all over the place trying to scoop the food out of the bags. Now it'll be much easier to scoop the food out without the mess. Wheels are a bonus, but I could have opted to not install them. Knowing what I know now I'd buy them again.

Cheap plastic cracks, wheels fall off

I've purchased 3 of these in the last year. They are advertised as rated for 50lbs of feed. I gently place 35 and 40lb bags of feed in them and they are cracking around the wheels. 2 of the 3 are unusable now, and I'm sure the 3rd will follow soon. I need rolling feed bins, not cracked stationary buckets! Waste of money!

Can I give negative stars?

On day 1, we set up the wheels and poured the 25 pound bag of food into the container. Woohoo! It fits! Thus endeth the list! The lid didn't really close tight (the description says "airtight"). We "closed" the lid and the front wheel broke off! There is a hole where the wheel connects, so totally broken, and the plastic container also cracked. We had to put duct tape to keep the food from pouring out! I will be sending this back! Piece of junk.

Small changes would have made this great

First the pros. The 25lb capacity container perfectly fits the 22lb bag of cat food we buy. The rolling function is convenient, and it’s nice to be able to easily see how much food is left.

Works great, but

It is not very well made. It is basically a trash can sized bin that holds pet food. The 35 pound capacity is spot on. I have been using it for 30 pound bags, and they fit perfectly. The top lid seals and locks easily, the caster wheels roll fine, so everything works as expected. My only issue is the quality of construction. The bin is kind of the thin, the casters just push in, and the lid has to be snapped on. I’ve had no issues yet, but I wonder how long it will last before the lid or the casters breaks. So far, it has been working well and is a convenient way to store a large bag of pet food. I am happy with the purchase.

Perfect size and purpose!

The size is perfect! Even on the casters (more on that later) it fits under our shelves in the pantry. Granted everyone's situation is different. It provides s an airtight seal using foam, I would have liked to have seen silicone. However it still works! My biggest complaint is the casters. If the container was empty all the time, the casters work well. Once there is weight in it, it does cause it to bow, ever so slightly making the casters unable to spend. Now I'm no engineer, so I'm not sure if it's the container flexing ever so slightly or if it's just the weight of what's inside, so I'm not sure if it's the flexing of the container or the sub par quality if the casters.
