[Rewarded Review] Disappointing

I live in a small apartment so I bought to keep my planting supplies outside on the back patio. The lid cracked almost immediately and ever since a lot of moisture has been getting into the bin. I had to move all of my soil out of it and it is only being used to house old pots and such now.

I just packed up my backpacking/camping gear for the winter in this bin. The construction is solid and the seal tight. The latches feel solid.

The totes are fine--stack nicely, do what they need to- do. But every single time I order them the lids, and sometimes the boxes themselves. come broken, so I have to reorder and reorder until I get all the ones I actually ordered unbroken. I've probably placed six orders for these over the last couple of years and it's the same story every single time. Iris doesn't pack these with any padding whatsoever and typically all but one lid comes broken (the lid that was attached to a bottom--they stack the lids without any padding and they come broken or smashed with very large sharp edges exposed, not to mentioned that the water protectiveness is compromised when there are very large cracks in the lids).

Arrived broken

These bins are supposed to be weather safe. The lids are very brittle, and arrived broken. So if they are stored in an outside storage unit, the lids are going to chip and crack. So not worth the money if they can’t do the job they are intended for.

Good storage tubs but not very durable

I bought 20 of these tubs. 3 never arrived and then 7 of the tubs were too broken to use. Every single box I opened had broken plastic pieces from the lids and some from the tubs. 3 tubs were broken and 7 lids. This was very frustrating because I need tubs for my storage as I’m moving. So I only ended up with 10 of the 20 tubs that I ordered. These are not particularly high quality or durable. They probably broke so much because of the cold as it’s winter right now but still a truly durable plastic would not have broken that much. But I love the 6 clamps for holding the lid down and keeping pests out. They are nice for sealing your contents from things that can get in and that why I love them. But I’m disappointed that so many of them broke and to fine out that they are not really strong.

fabulous, strong storage

Bought these for reorganizing my basement. I needed clear strong storage totes with secure lids, not too big and not to small. These totes were the right size for a small person like myself to allow me to move as needed. I originally ordered 10 and will be ordering more. Fast, secure deliver, arrived undamaged. I would highly recommend!

Broken lid

I can’t believe I just read the reviews now. One of the 6 items I purchased arrived with a broken lid. It’s just hard to make a replacement coz you have to return the entire item rather than just them sending you a new lid for replacement. 😩

This is a great storage box. I have an outdoor cooking setup (grill, griddle and air fryer). But have much outdoor (and weatherproof) storage for all those grill and griddle accessories. I bought two of these and store under the outdoor kitchen carts. They work great. They have a great foam rubber inner seal for weather protection.

Honeycomb frame storage container

I have a few beehives. I needed a storage container for used honeycomb frames that would seal well enough to keep insects out, especially wax worms, they will destroy these frames if they get to them. The frames fit perfectly in this box and it seals well, so I anticipate no problems with insects.

Great for protecting anything!

In general, I love these iris gasket WeatherPro storeage bins. These containers are fantastic for storing items you want to protect from bugs, moisture, or even water leaks. I use them for clothes, family history pictures & documents as well as anything else I want to store & be sure that it is protected. The only reason they don't get a 5 ☆ rating is because every single order that I recieved has had at least one or more bins that arrive with missing parts/handles or broken handle holds or broken, cracked or chipped lids.

The totes quality are really bad. I received 2 that were both broken. They were not damaged in shipping they were broken before packing. I thought because of the high price that they would be good quality but I purchased 2 Hefty totes the same size $10 less than the other brand.

Lid was missing a clip

The bins are great but I received one in the mail missing one of the lids clips that secures it onto the bin. The clip itself isn’t replaceable. Ya have to buy a whole new bin with new lid just to have all the clips on it. Kind of a pain if it doesn’t arrive as it should.

These are great storage boxes that eliminate water and pest entry. You can see what is inside without having to open them. The lid is less clear than the sides but you can still get a general view.

[Rewarded Review] Solid design and seal

With yet another year approaching and more decorations, I wanted to see how this stacked up in my attic with Halloween decorations. Solid design and I like the way the lid seals. It feels super secure and I can hold a good amount of decorations. Curious to see how it does in a year with keeping some of the more fragile stuff in tact. Like that it's clear so I can see easily what's in the box.

This storage unit fits in the back of my vehicle perfectly. It is strong and durable and fits a lot without being too small or too large. I filled it with with items for underprivileged when I volunteer. I can also re orient it sideways and I can stack and place items on it safely without damaging it. It also fit under the bed well before I filled it and out it in my car. I love this size and the strong latches.

I really love this container because it's very sturdy, and thick plastic. the lid closes securely and it protects things from water, or dust. this specific container also has six locks on it to keep it more secure. It does not need too much space so you can store it almost anywhere in your house.Overall its great quality and i highly recommend it.

This storage bin is HANDS DOWN the most secure bin we have used at home! I purchase a lot of bins because we have a small home and I pack lots of things in our garage. This bin has closing clips on all sides, and they are thick material so when they click shut you are sure they won’t open! I really enjoyed the slim profile of this bin, sometimes I don’t fill big one and this smaller version is just perfect! Highly recommended!

I received this great IRIS 41 qt water pro plastic storage bin from try it sampling. It’s a perfect size to store all of my son’s shoes. I love that it protects them from water dust and everything damaging to them. It’s big enough to store a lot of things in it and a good fit to fit under my sons bed. Definitely durable and made with good quality materials.

I have many Iris storage containers and love them. I've said it before and I'll say it again but I like that the cap has a foam lining along the part of the cap that sits on top of the storage container to offer a more "air-tight" enclosure. This is a great feature. This specific container also has 6 locks on it to keep the cap on the box-- a little excessive, but more secure!

[Rewarded Review] Fits under the bed

Want to increase storage and make use of the space under my bed, and this is the perfect item for that. It's dusty below so I need an enclosed container. It's plastic instead of fabric so it's easy to wipe clean. It's just the right height to slide under the bed. The locking mechanism works reasonably well. The only thing is the size. I can't fit bigger items so it's actually for my miscellaneous stuff that I don't want to waste my drawer space for.
