The Hirsh Industries shelving unit is a solid and substantial product. Unfortunately the packaging of this unit is not adequate. Multiple shelving units were received with missing parts due to the packaging breaking open during shipping. Webstaurantstore had to ship thirteen (13) separate shelving units to fill the original order of ten (10) units. Thank you to Webstaurantstore for standing behind the product. If you need the product in a timely manner, be prepared to wait while you go through the defective product process.

These shelves were easy to assemble by myself, and seem very sturdy. They are a great size for storage and organization in my garage. I originally wanted Gorilla Rack shelves because I have some of those already, but it seems they are no longer made. These shelves are a great alternative, and after a google search, I found them to be the best price.

Issues

The unit came missing 4 of the corner brackets. I did get reimbursed from Overstock. The particle board shelves DO NOT FIT. I had to hammer them into place, and every corner cracked. The frame is sturdy, but come on, do better...

Tis shelving is fantastic. I have used in my garage as well as my attic for storage of entertaining and Christmas supplies. Everything was easy to assemble

Mostly great shelves

Great shelves but a couple of minor dings in the corners and edges of the wooden slats.

Nice shelves, very sturdy

This is a really nice shelf for a good price. No screws or anything, just hammer in with a rubber mallet which makes everything so much easier. I used them as two separate units, my only complaints are that there isn't one more shelf to allow for two separate units with 3 shelves each, and that many of the pieces were scuffed up upon arrival. Even with that being said I am satisfied with this product.

I bought several of thes shelving from overstock and found this one easy to assemble and light weight to move around my shed . It holds a lot of tools and boxes for my garden material

Missing Parts

I had set a part day to assemble 2 of these. Parts missing in one package, not a few parts but many. Clearly no one checks these. The assembled shelf is ok, cheap looking particle board but fairly sturdy overall.

Very Sturdy

I bought this about a year and a half ago, I just got this new house and I lived alone. This was so easy to set up all by myself. However, being 5'2", I didn't stack them. I left them as two separate sets of shelving, but they make it super easy to stack them later. Even after a year and a half later, this is still just as sturdy and solid as the day I bought it.

HEAVY DUTY IRON HORSE SHELF

This shelf is very sturdy and is easy to assemble. It really holds a lot of weight so it is good for storing just about anything.

Heavy duty shelving unit

The is made of strong materials and the quality is A+. I would recommend this to everyone that is interested in shelving. We used this in our basement to place totes and other items. I will be buying more

This shelf is perfect for what I needed. It wasn’t too difficult to assemble but a bit heavy so having two people put it together. It is very sturdy and works great in my garage for organized storage. Will probably buy another one for my basement
