Beautiful, but inconsistent

The design of this scroll is beautiful - just what I was looking for and the size was right for my project. However, I would have loved this exact style in solid wood which I could not find. It is plastic, and not even solid plastic.... It is a plastic coating on foam. One of the scrolls (I bought 4, 2 of left and 2 of right facing) had plaster patching to the back of the foam to fill holes. The left and right versions are not correctly mirrored - the design is a tad bit off. I have not yet used them in my project, but think they will look fine once it's all done and painted. I just worry a bit about gluing them down and hope the glue won't eat the foam.
