Globe Room Centerpiece

Beautiful centerpiece for my globe room. I have only been in the market for a short amount of time but have quickly fallen in love with this style for both its luxurious look and practicality.

Beautiful bar stool

What a beautiful solid wood bar cart everyone who has seen loves it. It was easy to put together and they delivered it in a few days. I've recommended to some family and friends. I love it.

This item was worth the money. It is nice. My only complaint would be the smell. It it really strong. We have been letting it air out. After two days, not much change in the chemical smell. Hopefully, it will get better. It wasn't designed by someone who drinks. The top ring won't fit a slim 750ml bottle. The bottom ring does not allow a 1.75 L bottle. The top ring won't fit a cocktail glass. The color isn't true to the picture. But, that's not uncommon. But, it arrived on time. It is packaged to withstand a hurricane. Overall, not a bad value.

Arrived damaged

The globe is actually a bunch of thin pieces glued together with a map sticker over it, and does not have the quality appearance shown in the picture. The top part of the globe arrived damaged out of the box, cracked along one of the glued seams. Was very easy to put together, instructions were easy to follow.

Globe is excellent accent piece. Detail on globe is eye catching. More thought could've been given to the construction of the glass holder inside.

Highly recommended this super cool globe / wine & liquor cabinet. It is very simple to assemble and sturdy enough to hold many bottles. It is also deep enough on the inside to easily store tall bottles. Very impressed and guests always compliment its uniqueness.

Well packaged. Easy to assemble. Looks great except for an apparent construction flaw. I assembled it properly but the top hemispere of globe does not meet bottom hemisphere well…it is off center. Short of redrilling one or more hole (that won’t look good), the globe looks a bit off.

Unique piece

I bought this for my former husband who liked to collect overpriced liquor. I thought this was neat at the time and he really liked it. It appeared to be high quality and has lasted for many years. He still owns and enjoys it but I’m glad I don’t have to look at it anymore.

Adorable little bar

Adorable little bar. My husband has wanted one for ever and I couldn't resist buying this for him for Christmas. It's been used for about 6 months and has held up very well. My husband keeps his special spirits in it so that I don't waste them in my mixed drinks. Lol.

Love the details. I just got it so I will update my review while I use it. I prefer keeping my lid open. The looks just like the photos and actually holds 8 glasses in the top slot. I think it could hold more if the glasses are smaller than mine.

Cheap looking and not functional

I'm rather disappointed in this item. The quality is just okay. The map areas weren't applied correctly so the lines and text don't match up and it looks messy (inside and out). Much of the item is plastic. Regular sized bottles don't fit in the bottle rails or they are too tall to close the globe or fit under the globe. Decanters definitely won't fit. Regular rocks glasses don't fit in the rails either. It's not very functional and it looks messy/cheap. I guess we're stuck with it because it was a gift and ordered a king time ago.

Toscano Sixteenth- Century wine rack

Love love love this item! Exquisitely done beautiful beautiful! My grandchildren enjoy looking for their horoscopes and the maps are gorgeous. The authenticity and royal colors. I'm extremely pleased.

Didn't need it, - Very happy I changed my mind.

We are not big drinkers but this is just a really cool display. I look forward to using it. We will have liquor but also have soda chilling on ice in the center sometimes. It looks very nice next to my new oak bookshelves. I love the color. Along with a comfortable chair, it helps make a very inviting reading or leisure environment, and I enjoy seeing where things used to be and what they were called.

Beautiful Quality & Easy Assembly

Sixteenth-Century Century Italian Replica Globe Bars are making a resurgence and I was so excited to find one! Back in the 1990's when they were originally popular I really wanted one but with my decor at the time, it just didn't work. These bars available from a variety of sources these, but Design Toscano has the most visually appealing in my opinion. I've ordered numerous items from Design Toscano so I trust the quality and as usual, wasn't disappointed. In fact, after seeing our bar, several other friends have ordered for themselves and as gifts.

Elegant centerpiec with some drawbacks

Nice unit. Looks elegant as a center piece. Bottom is not tall enough to hold standard size liquor bottles. Within the top shell where stemware can be held, these areas are too skinny to be able to hold regular brandy glasses or other liquor bottles.

Highly recommend!

I absolutely love this bar cart.! Shipping was extremely fast. I ordered on a Saturday morning, and received item on that following Tuesday. Item was packaged extremely well. I put it together by myself within 15-20 mins. The quality is great! The size is perfect! Just like the picture. I had no scratches on any of the parts.

Family enjoy

We purchases 5 of these wine globes. Years ago we found an older model in an antique shop near Atlantic City. It was somewhat smaller than our friends who had one he purchased one in Italy years ago. But we liked it. All our grand kids said they would like one. We found the Toscano site. it makes a great gift.

Great product at a great price

Have been looking for a globe bar for quite some time. This was the best deal I found and it looks great in my office. The map on the globe is not exactly a work of art, as it is just printed paper glued onto the globe, so I am confident it will start peeling and again quickly, and some of the graphics on it don't line up perfectly from one printed/pasted piece to the next, but at this price I wasn't expecting a museum quality work of art. That is the only con as it looks amazing in my office.

Beauty & Function!

I have wanted this thing for years and years. My job required 100% travel for the past 10 years, though. Now that I am settled down in a house of my own, I finally purchased this and have it in my Mancave/trophy room/game room! Everyone loves it, and for me, it never gets old. Classic piece! My favorite part? Looks fantastic and serves a valuable purpose, as well.
