This is a thin rug but I like that it is 100 percent wool. A rug pad is a must and thicker/one side felt is best. However for the price and being wool it is a nice rug. The purple color is more blue/purple like one reviewer said and is a nice pattern

Very pretty, long-wearing rug

I went back and forth about this purchase because I wasn't sure about the color. The listing says purple but it looked navy on my monitor, and at least one other reviewer called it periwinkle. After finally deciding to take the risk, I would call it something between periwinkle and cornflower blue. It does have a bit of a purple undertone to the blue, but to me it definitely reads as blue, overall. The rug itself is beautiful and high quality. This is my third purchase from the Safavieh Dhurries line, and let me tell you, they hold up GREAT to kids, dogs, spills, heavy daily wear. They aren't soft and cushiony, but they can take anything you throw at them and last forever, they're almost impossible to stain and so easy to keep clean, don't soak up pet odors like thicker rugs will, and through it all they still look great. For me that's what's most important and what makes them really a great value for the price.

The rug is pretty and feels pretty nice. The wool is soft although it is quite thin, you will need to use a thick rug pad along with this to make it work.

This rug is exactly how it is described and pictured! Looks great and fits under my door so my door doesn't spray on it...very pretty!

I've had this rug for 5 years in various rooms in our house and it has lasted beautifully. It even cleaned up well after a major spill. Highly recommend.

Love love love. This rug has survived 6 kids, 2 cats and a dog. The color is perfect and the size and pattern are perfect for a large space or open floor plan.

The images used on your website are a poor representations of the actual products. This has happened multiple times now. I have learned not to shop at overstock anymore. I purchase something based on the description and images shown on your site, and when i receive the item it looks nothing like what was advertised. Very misleading practices, and now I am stuck paying to have to return the item. You have lost my business, and I will be sharing my experiences with others.

Definitely periwinkle and not blue but nice pattern and brightens up the dark hallway. Good quality. You do have to bend the edges for a bit to make sure they lay flat after shipping. Best over a rug pad.

I love It!

I had been looking for a rug with a rich golden color for some time. Most had too much of a pattern; others none at all. This rug offered just the simplicity I'd hoped and the pattern doesn't compete with my curtains.

Good quality but...

Fair warning. This rug is nice quality but the color looks nothing like the photo or the description which calls it "vibrant." What I thought would be a yellow/orange contrast is actually more of a mustard brown. Very disappointed.

These rugs are gorgeous and I am very happy with the quality. Ordered two runners for my hallways. I placed a non-slip pad under them.

Love it but.......

I love this rug, but Dhurries are high maintenance. It should be vacuumed every day. I wouldn't recommend this for someone with pets or small children.

I just received this rug last night and it has already passed a major test. I was a little wary of buying a mainly ivory rug to go in my dining room as I have 2 little boys. True to form, my 3 year old smashed a blackberry in it this morning and I was very pleasantly surprised that it cleaned right up with a little soap and water! It didn't leak through to the other side and there was no damage to the pile from scrubbing. In addition to the durability, it looks fantastic, lays flat and there was no odor (like you get with some online rugs). I was going for a black and white rug so I was a little afraid that the charcoal would be too light but it's not at all. The color is accurately represented in the picture. So glad I ordered!!

Loved it but not the right fit for my kitchen

I love this rug! I waited and waited for it to come back in stock. It's a nice quality, lays flat, and looks just like the picture. Unfortunately once I got it in my kitchen it became abundantly clear that I need a red rug not a yellow rug. I was so bummed to have to send it back. Very nice for on a patio or high traffic area like under your kitchen table., ,,,,,

Rug is vibrant in color but very thin. Love the pattern but wanted something a little more plush.
