Thee quality of the lamp was just fine. Afdter receiving it, though, we fely it was a little too small for the entry cabinet it was to adorn. Itr has found a home in my bedroom on the chest. I recommend a 4 or 5W 3000k LED lamp, as an incandescent makes the top of the shade too hot to touch.

Really nice lamp. I put a 40W bulb in it. I should upgrade it to a warm LED at a later date. Puts out a cozy glow in my apartment. Buy a bulb before you buy the lamp. Silly they don't toss in a LED bulb with this lamp. The color of this lamp is what you get, matches the picture on the screen. I somehow lucked out buying this, I stumbled upon it here at the HD, must have got it on sale. As they were shipping it, I came back to look at more lamps, the price of this one went up! Seems like if you are looking for a lamp at the HD, look some more and see what one has the price drop. They do seem to have other lamps just like this one, different shade , size is all. I may look into replacing some of my other el-cheapo accent lamps with more like this one.
